I try to limit myself to 117 pets - I feel like that was back when it was ok.
I have 125 now -_-;;
I shouldn't laugh at that, but I totally did.
I've had mixed luck with mutagen, but I'm confining my desire to use it to one pet. My starter, she was kinda crap so it's not like it can really ruin her too badly. She's gotten better, worse, better, and worse again. One day maybe she'll feel complete and I can give her a new skin based on her final color. XD

And here I thought mine was annoying.
Also; I have a surplus of Gryphon babies and no-one to sell them to since my last thread got buried. Wah wah no-one wants Gryphons. It makes me want to stop breeding unless I can be assured of buyers for them.

@RedRarebit- I know that feeling. I have so many baby rocs and gryphons and such and no one buys them. Also even though catching pets is so much easier with the cartographer's guild, no one wants to buy what I catch...

Well... I'm looking to start breeding Gryphons, and I need some nice males. Toss me a PM!
Here's my rant. It's on selling, too. See, since we can easily and cheaply catch pets, nobody wants to buy. Pets are the main desirable object in the game, if there's not much of a market for them, we have a problem.

How much are you trying to sell them for? I've been selling several pets and haven't been having much trouble. If it doesn't sell it generally means I'm asking too much money.
I lower the price and try again, if it doesn't sell then it's still too high. XD

I've been putting up the wild caught pets and bred pets with average genes for a starting bid of 300s and an autobuy of 1000s. It doesn't seem that expensive to me. And I have a selling thread that's open to offers. I think it's cause no one actually wants them because they're all white unicorns or something just as common. :/ Eventually I just pound them because I don't want them to eat up all my food while waiting for them to sell.

I do agree, the hardest pet to sell are white unicorns.
I think I managed to sell a wild white unicorn with somewhat bad genes (two reds) for 300s.

I have a white unicorn I'm going to sell... he has no reds, and one green. He also has very nice resessives, but I don't know how to price him.

I know, sun :( I went to the auction, and there was a lot for 1 vermillion for 500 silver. I can barely find any in explore, either.

I'd really like to quit exploring because it just isn't any fun, but I can't keep breeding if I can't buy vermillion. :( And yeah, when I do explore I still hardly get any vermillion.

WHY!? I expected the one red, but of all things to pass on, WHY did Stomp have to give him Buckskin? That's my least favorite color, worse than white to me :(
