I just picked up this Cockatrice from the pound. I do not know whether to be awestruck or hysterical. I may keep this one, as a trophy/keepsake, simply because of the sheer amount of emotions I am having to evacuate from my soul right now.

Is it sad that I'm honestly considering building a reserve next so people can give me pets they'd want pounded/deleted instead of using the actual freaking pound? Freaking unicorns, man.....freaking unicorns.

You know what, I was actually thinking the same thing, make a reserve and then just adopt the white unicorns from the pound, just to stick them in the reserve...unless they have good genes...which I doubt.
And I have gotten bad cockatrices from the pound before. They are slowly leveling and I'm trying a thing to see if good offspring will eventually come from their genes....which I doubt.

Oh look, I caught another white unicorn. That's... great. I'm totally not already taming like four of those. >__>;;
Not to complain, I've actually been snagging a lot of white unicorns with great genes. Sinder, my first, even reached level 50 faster than my favorite pet so I forgive him for being dull. If it wouldn't completely destroy his genes I would even attempt to change his color to something more interesting.
Nah, my real rant is Mirmulnir and Liz's complete and utter refusal to have a fire breathing baby together. They have the right recessive genes but at this rate Liz is going to run out of breedings before one is born. Their latest disappointment is due to be born in five hours. You can probably guess, my hopes are not high at this point.

Bleh. I've picked up so many disappointments in the Pound--and then thrown them back lol. I can't wait to get my Reserve built. Has anyone gotten any extra blueprints for it?
