Name: Mossheart

Suddenly I noticed that, in my concentration on the herbs, Tumblekit had disappeared! It took me a few minutes to find the kit's sent because of my worry-sent and the way I kept glancing back at the remaining kits. When I found that the sent lead through a hole in the apprentice's den, I cursed under my breath "That little mouse-brain!" But I couldn't be too med because, when I was a kit I had done the same. I ran to the elders den with a quickly formulated plan. I nudged Smallnose gently with my nose until he woke up. "Smallnose, Smallnose! Tumblekit has run out of camp! I'm going to give Mintkit and Ecokit poppy seeds to sleep and I need you to take care of them as I hunt down Tumblekit! Can you please help?"

Name: Mossheart

I purred thankfuly at the good-natured elder and tore through the camp entrance, finding Tumblekit's milky kit-sent quickly this time. I followed it for the next few minutes, thinking Why Tumblekit? Did you have to go this far? I almost lost the sent when I passed by a long-dead piece of crow-food that Tumblekit had sniffed, but I found it by some brambles and continued on my hunt. I started to get near the abandoned twoleg den and a despised scent reached my nose - fox-sent! And with it scared-kit sent! I raced through the trees, my paws leaving dents in the earth. Unnessisery voices spoke in my head, A fox could kill him with one swipe! Run faster! I think I just tore a claw off. Ahead of me was the clearing and I saw Tumblekit backing into the twoleg den and thought Well at least he has some sence! And changed direction as I spotted a flash of red fur near the trees bording the den. Then, using all the speed I had build up, I leapt, flying toward the fox with an earsplitting screech!

(OOC: Sorry for not taking part recently, I've had a bunch of school projects. So I was wondering if the warriors/apprentices were back from fighting with ShadeClan.)

Tumblekit knew the fox was coming. He backed into the far wall of the Twoleg nest. He saw a mouse scuttle across the floor, and his belly rumbled, but just then, a large red muzzle poked through the cracked wooden entrance. Tumblekit's eyes widened as the muzzle pushed itself further in, revealing a large Amber eye.

The fox growled, and Tumblekit wailed,“Mossheart! Briarfrost? Anyone!”

Location: The Abandoned Twoleg Nest

Name: Mossheart

 

As I flew through the air toward the fox, it moved foward, not to avoid me, but to get nearer to the whimpering kit in the Twoleg Nest. I landed in a patch of brambles and just barely kept myself from screeching in pain as the sharp thorns imbeded themselves in my skin. Growling softly, I quickly squirmed out of the brambles and positioned myself in a leaping crouch. The dumb fox was now ignoring everything behind it and had stuck part of it's head in the Den. I lept at it, claws out and ready to bury themselves into the red enemy in front of me.

Night felt feeble jaws clamped around her scruff. She mewled, scared, and suddenly she felt the ground under her feet. She was put down by the anoymous cat. "I'm sorry." The cat whispered, then they were gone. Night blindly felt the ground around her, and found nothing. She wailed, scared and lonely. All of a sudden, she heard a voice. "What is this?"

The small kit next to her gasped. “It talks!”

The fox turned swiftly, almost catching a blow from Mossheart. “Do you speak fox, or do I speak cat? I must speak cat. Okay, everybody STOP!!”
