Welcome everyone to the Christmas Poem Competition!

Everybody is welcome.

The point of this competition is that you need to write a poem on your own around the theme christmas. However you are not allowed to make look for for one. I will show an example template:

Name: MidnightMoon

Auther: by MidnightMoon

Title: A Christmas Wish

Poem:

I'd like a stocking made for a giant,
And a meeting house full of toys,
Then I'd go out in a happy hunt
For the poor little girls and boys;
Up the street and down the street,
And across and over the town,
I'd search and find them everyone,
Before the sun went down.

Please note some rules aswell to make this competition fair:

Not aloud to google one
Please follow the template as shown up
Only one poem per user
Try to make it the best you can

The winners will be anounced on the 25th of December 2015. Please note that my frined Pinkblossom is helping me out as well. We will keep looking however we are not allowed to comment until the 24th of December 2015. Also please don't comment or PM us that you wrote a poem. We will be looking at them occasionally.

Title: Early Bird

Poem:

"It's Christmas Day!" I shouted,

At my sleeping brother's face,

"I'm going to get my presents!" I yelled,

Through my parent's open door,

"Santa Claus has come and gone!" I screamed,

As I tore past the baby's cradle, almost knocking it to the floor,

"I'm going to get the Advent Calender!" I screeched,

At the dog, sitting in it's bed, and then I saw the calender,

"Wait, why is it July 21st?" I asked, feeling quite defeated and dead.

I hope it's not too late! I submitted a cluster of three haikus. Haiku's have five syllables in the first line, seven in the second, and five in the third.

A Christmas Haiku:

Who doesn't like it,

When they find Santa's presents

Under their Christmas tree?

Who knows what I'll get,

Well, me. Christmas was days ago.

Except my late gift.

Unknown it remains

Until tomorrow morning,

It'll arrive soon!
