Soon, the patrol was at hunters clearing, the hunting grounds and border between SunClan and ShadeLcan territory. Swiftstrike had just ordered them to search the grounds for crossed boundaries before hunting.

OOC: ShadeClan is waiting, so if one of your characters has a good sense of smell...

(Ha ha yes, but I wasn't making her smell the other cats. I hope she can become a medicine cat someday. She is smelling yarrow.)

“Okay guys, I'll see if I can talk them into coming out,” Swiftstrike meowed, taking charge. He disappeared behind the bush where the scent was coming from.

There were a few yowls, and Swiftstrike leaped out, covered in claw marks. “It's like they brought all their warriors!” he exclaimed.

As I watched the young apprentice, Fernpaw, skid into camp I knew something was wrong. When she started calling Dewstar's name I knew it was worse. And when she said that Shadeclan was attacking I exploded into a seires of the worse curses I could think of, "Those mouse-brained, crowfood-eating, Starclan-defing fox-hearts! We had a deal, a peace treaty!" I rounded on the wide-eyed messagenger, "Where on the territory is the patrol? They'll need help! How many cats did Shadeclan bring? Spit it out!" I was very close to springing on poor Fernpaw as I paced fierously around the speechless cat. I looked at her and started to feel bad, she was probably scared enough from her short encounter with the enemy clan. After I calmed down and my twitching tail was the only thing that showed my impatiens, I asked agian, "Fernpaw, can you please tell me where the rest of your patrol is?"
