Intro- I've been wanting to suggest a new creature for quite a while, but I've never been able to think of one that wasn't too close to a flying reptile(dragon), or a horse(unicorn). Then I thought, what about a snake? It isn't too close to a dragon, since it can't fly, and it's not too big.
I found that there is a defect in cornsnakes that make them bob their heads, and add milky eyes, and BAM, you get a Avidian.
Description- The Avidian is a smooth, not scaly, snake with large white eyes on either side of its head. Its belly is a thick cream color, while the back is decorated with mottled purple and white specks, making it have a starry pattern.
The Avidian gets its name from the way it "stares" at nothing, as if were seeing something no one else could see. It has a tendency to bob its head, giving it an overall trance-like look.
Opinions on the Avidian change from person to person. It is common believe that its milky white eyes can see the future, or even into other dimensions. Few, however, find its head bobbing adorable, and think the Avidian is just a lovable goof.

Continued- After the description, I couldn't think of any genes. So with permission from Angel, I was able to suggest a Kami! How cool is that? And I wouldn't have to worry about multiple genes, or colors(I can't think of any colors for it except blue and purple, so I stuck with purple).
Genes
Jaw- Fangs- Avidians have long fangs hidden in their mouths. They appear when Avidians are threatened. Gives new tactic-Fangs- in battlefield. Works like Blinding Attack(unicorns).
Senses- Blind- Although Avidians are aware of their surroundings, they are still blind. Fog in Explore remains on diagonal sides. Edit: Sense of Direction. They have to have it if they're blind, XD
"Paws"- Serpent- Avidian slithers past opponent! One success maximum in Explore, 30% chance success. Activated by attacking like normal, if unsuccessful, normal attack occurs.
Mind- Intriguing Look- Works like Fearsome Look.
Bones- Solid Bones
Muscles- Strong Muscles
Organs- Regeneration
Skin- Robust Scales
