1) Are drakes breedable?

No. All kamis are not able to breed no matter what the gender is.

2) Can I change sex of a drake?

Yes. I have done this myself with other kamis. Doesnt really change anything though since they can not breed but it is fun.

Unrelated note:
I have exhanges up for my dooms. Two dooms for five hells, or two dooms for 1 yellow fish egg. I will add more as I get dooms from quests and such.

Think I just hit a new record- three orthus dogs in one island, with lvl 41 pet in the grasslands. 

Wow I just explored with both Drakes.The Hell Drake looks like Doom Drake and the Doom Drake looks like Hell Drake on the islands. :D

If anyone is still trying to breed for doom pumpkins, i have a bunch of heterozygous failures for petrifying gaze/fearsome look I am giving away for free in my "Free" tab. Take as many as you want.

I'm finding this event to be a very long grind.  The pumpkins and dogs are sooooooo rare.

A pet MIGHT find A dog (usually only) on the second island it visits.(maybe one pet in 3) and islands after the second will deliver neither dogs nor guardians.

Guardians are quite rare and usually still give out recipes/schemes when beaten.

Haul from last 20 islands was really good. I got a Doom and 5 Hell pumpkins.  Best hauls were the first 3 days. And a gratefull "Thanks"  to those who accepted my trades. :)

I am looking for Hell Pumpkins. Anyone who has some extras, please PM me and we can try to work out a deal! I haven't had nearly enough time to get on and search islands.

Can someone explain how the battlefield works for doom pumpkins please? I'm not getting what I should unless I am misunderstanding the mechanics of it.

Does anyone happen to have an extra dominant Magic Mirror Unicorn I can borrow?

Just FYI for people crafting Doom pumpkins out there, either have a bunch of pets be able to make pumpkins or make the pumpkins well before the deadline.

If you make multiple Doom pumpkins in one crafting time, the time it takes to make each pumpkin stacks together.

Example: crafting 5 Doom pumpkins in one sitting will take 20 hours to complete. 

If you break it up over a bunch of pets, each pet making just one, it'll take the regular four hours.

And I wanted to ask.. can anybody please tell me how the Travelling Merchant guest works? I have one in my Inn now, but I didn't noticed any change in items trading or in the markets on the islands.. Thanks!!

You should see the "Travelling Merchant" option added to the dropdown choices under your Trading tab. You go there, and they offer you one trade, like the Market on the islands. After you accept it, it doesn't do anything else. 

Oh, thank you Sumatra! I didnt mention this option in the dropdawn tab.. but I am surprisded.. I thought you may pick what you would like to buy... I am really not interested in ore..:)

I doubt it will offer you a pumpkin, since that's an event item. I don't know if it would offer mutagen, since I don't use invites much and have rarely seen the Travelling Merchant at all, but I think it works the same way as the Market on the islands, in that it offers you X of some materials in exchange for X of some other materials. In which case, no; you wouldn't get any mutagen either. But again, that's my own theory. 

Don't think I'm going to pull off getting a doom drake.Anyone have extra doom pumkins laying around?  WILL PAY FOR THEM.
