How exactly do we extract it from pet's with Fearsom Look/Petrifying Gaze?

i have only encountered one dog thingy and it seems that most people have found more than me why is this.i got the pumpkin though. why is this?

Angel, I have a question about the Fearsome Look/Petrifying Gaze. If only one Pumpkin is gained per pet then why does it take away both genes if it is Homozygous?

The recipes for these pumpkins are quite hefty. And both recipes are for the same kind of pumpkin. If anyone is interested in the recipes, they go:

Doom Pumpkin I (green):

2 Mutagens

5000 coins

Doom Pumpkin II (green): 

1 Glowshroom

1 Dragon Maple

1 Nutpea

1 Cactus Melon

1 Heart Fruit

1 Bamboo Berries

5,000 coins

The Hell Pumpkins (yellow) don't seem to have a recipe, so you can only beat up Orthrus for them.

Sylviianel, it works with the trait, not with a single gene. The expression of the trait is always similar no matter how many copies of the same gene a pet has. At the same time the pumpkin doesn't count how many gene copies an organism has and simply transforms all genes with the same structure to normal ones, so recessive genes are transformed too when a pet is charging a pumpkin.

I love this :D I have found 15 of the pumpkins already and I have only visited about 25 islands. 

I actually think the monsters we have to fight to get the pumpkins are a little bit cute too :) 

I'm a bit confused though; do I need to get 30 doom pumpkins for the doom drake or will the hell pupmkins work too? 

I feel bad killing these hell hounds. They are so pretty, I want one of them as a pet.

so agreed Monues..... Anyone find out the diffrence between the punmpkins and why we need two diffrent ones in the first place yet? Which ones work on which of the drake's? 

Hell pumpkins for hell drakes and doom pumpkins for doom drakes. There wouldnt be two different types of pumpkins if we didnt need two different types. So they must each be used for the drake they are named for.

Which Pumpkin is needed for the 50% DC thing?

I assume you mean the deviant color amplifiers? I don't think it matters which one you use.

Wow, you're doing well with that!  I've done I think 22 explores today and only found 5 hellhounds.  I have terrible RNG in browser games.  XD

Someone please make a skin that looks like these hellhounds. I would really love to add one to my stables, but im guessing a skin look-alike would be more realistic. Minus one head of course.
