Not sure if this was supposed to happen or not but, I opened three random chests at the same time and I only got one doom pumpkin. Was this my oops for not opening them one at a time? Or was this a bug or some sort? If it was an oops my bad then. Was hopeing I wouldn't have to do them one at a time.

2 Hell pumpkins out of 20 explores.. I wonder that this way it will not be possible to get the Hell Dragon since the explore is the only way how to get them. Yesterday, when the event started, the Orthrus dogs were arriving more frequently..

People, explore the SAVANNAH islands! I haven't found any dog in any different environment..

I second Yavanna here. I found WAY more hell hounds in the Savannah. Tried other places... only one or two out of twenty visits. Savannah was more consistant.

Really? I've found plenty of them in the Grasslands, up to 3 per island. I just had 2 islands in a row with 2 of them on it. In all I've explored over 100 islands and I've gotten 99 Hell Pumpkins total. I'd be just 1 away if not for sending a bunch to Monues for her Drake but she's since sent some my way so I'll be getting mine soon.

Darn, you guys are fast, I only just got 29 Hell and 5 Doom.

Anyways, I think the reason you guys are finding so few is because you aren't exploring with a full roster of level 50 pets. The higher the level, the bigger the island you visit is.

I don't think it's just level: I explore exclusively with level 50 pets, and I had terrible luck in the Desert. Since I switched to the Grasslands, I've been finding more. I'm going to try the Savannah now and see how it compares to the Grasslands.

Started exploring on the savannah once the grasslands was giving me one pumpkin per ten islands. The savannah is great, lots of pumpkins. Thank you for sharing that information.

If anyone is planning purchase vermillion with their pumpkins at the warlock shop please consider accepting my exchange offers instead. I am offering twice the amount of vermillion the warlocks are.

So people are finding them in Savannah and Grassland? I only have 1 50 so need to make sure I am putting it in the best area for them.

Did you say that there could me more than 0 or 1 hounds in one island? I'm using my best unicorns and still there is always only one if any. I think I'm getting drakes, yes, but it takes long long time and lots of efforts.

I'm finding plenty in the grasslands, and also in the desert for some reason. I think the jungle is the only where I haven't found any Orthrus

Finding them in the grasslands and savannahs as well. Haven't found a single one in the jungle and in the desert. But the lag-beast drives me a bit nuts at the moment.
