Bidding wars are awfully stressful, I agree!
Although last time I planned to just bide my time I ended up forgetting when the auction ended and checking about an hour late, which was a bit embarassing.
My degen lykos at least turns out to have Ice Breath and Ice Aura, so I'm keeping her around for etelia-making purposes. Might as well get something out of that mistake... (She also has a whopping three negative stats, as well as losing her parents' Tireless Heart. Which is all the more galling considering how nice both her parents are! Oh well.)

Yeah, you'll make money selling her children during tundra. Ice breath/ice aura that are reasonably priced get snapped up.
I already have some trashy ones of my own... And I think if you have a male then you get a lot of breedings :)

Fighting Monues on the battlefield is indeed very frustrating!
