Hahaha there aren't really any instructions per se. Just trial and error :)

For me, I understand this much: 1, make a military academy. 2, make a group with four pets in it and change it to a squad. 3, look at that map thing (on the menu it's Battles/Battlefield, url is http://beastkeeper.com/masscombat ) and wonder what the heck next. I apparently managed to attempt afight as my Squad has one loss, but I have no idea what they did.
