Omg, I finally found a snowflake, but I can't seem to beat the guardian standing in front of it!

Weird, the explore Etelia image doesn't match any of the poses.

That's probably so you don't mix up your etelia with the wild ones if you get to lvl 8.

So I finally realized, the reason I've been having so much trouble in explore is due to a particular form of Etalias. Cannot for the life of me beat it, All other forms are fine though. I may be able to get my snowflake yet!

When I run into an Etelia with Silent Pace or Magic Mirror, I usually quit and move on right away. It's hard enough trying to counter Ice Breath and Blizzard without other stuff on top of it.

Well, my initial problem evolved. While I figured out how to beat (most) Etelias now (unless the level gap is too big) and have all the necessary materials for my first Etelia, I still haven't managed to breed a Lykos with both Ice Breath and Ice Aura; the pups always end up with just one or the other.

And while I'm trying to gather more Crystalline Ice, my pets keep getting stuck at lvl4, 5 or 6 of the Tundra with no further portals :/ It's a huge drain on Portal Energy Cells to get that far, but not far enough to encounter more Etelias, argh! I ran out of Cells twice today and I had 50 on hand both times when my pets finally finished crafting. I'm halfway towards having enough Crystalline Ice for the first Etelia breeding as well. Encountering tundra portal dead ends is my new nemesis DX

Are pristine snowflakes account-bound or not? I have found one on the level ten tundra island, and left it there as well, since I have no interest in Etelias. There were two guardians on the island; one, guarding the snowflake, another one guarding the portal, so I went for the portal.

I have same problem, almost feels that this can't be coinsident but maybe it just is... I have handful of "useles" puppies that are, yes nice, some of them all green and three stars, good for basic gaming, but nobody wants them now because they have them too ;)  And I don't know if I dare to send them in portal if nobody buys. 

I'm short of two crystals and going to have them them soon. All this time I'd tried to breed right lykos but there is always that *one* wrong gene green....

Good luck to us both getting the right genes! I started breeding for the right traits when the event started and, so far, no luck @,@

It's a big luck to find it, and it can happen only once for each Beastlord.

Does this mean if you don't collect the snowflake, you'll lose the opportunity to get it forever? Asking because I left some 10+ before because I couldn't kill any of the guardians, and didn't have the traveling magician to reveal the map

Try to breed with my Lyko "Earth", He's homozygous at both Ice breath and Ice aura. How do you get with Doom Drake on higher lvls? My is wimsy, he's always stuck in lvl 6 (he get there only once), how to set tactical maneuvers? Anybody Know?

My Doom Drake uses specific battle moves to win. Once you get to level six, switch to manual mode. If Bite is succesful, mine does the most damage at 177, as oppose to 50. Use Bite. Occasionally put a Blow in there, but not too often.

I haven't been on the site long enough to have any special event pets (I signed up just when the Halloween event was over lol). I've been playing with unicorns, because that's what I currently specialize in. My main tip for the higher tundra levels is, avoiding all unnecessary encounters and when you have to fight, do it in manual mode, where you can see which attacks are most effective.

I'm waiting for some puppis with Earth, they're born tomorrow, It's was great to use homozygous lykos to breed these abilities so thank you! :)  My own "Ice Heart" was missing one gene and I never got these right with him and my females.

I can't say much about drake tactics, my Hell Drake is now on level 9 and trying very much to kill Etelia with his luck ;) He rests over night and tries again. In time I have collected some crystals, bough one and changed few. 

I'm finding my Doom Drake does better than my Hell Drake.  For some reasone, it's fearsome look just comes up more often.  Both drakes do 177 damage on their elemental strike.  What's the most damage anyone has seen a wild etelia do?  I just had one get a critical strike for 600.

I've been wondering about this too. Does the snowflake only spawn once for each player, or can it spawn again if it wasn't picked up on an island?
