Etelias

The concept of Etelias was created by and belongs to Foxcomix
Read the original "Black Antarctica" comics (Russian language, check the description below for text translation)

The sky of Black Antarctica is cold and pitch black, full of biting sharp stars. In the eternal cold live Etelias, the creatures made of ice and hardened air. To form their bodies, new crystals are growing on the pristine snowflake according to its structure for long years. From the very moment when they are formed, their eyes are directed to the sky and their pupils are catching the light of stars. The stars burn out the black dots on the bottom of Etelia's eyes, creating the dead zones that can't perceive the light anymore. Etelias are roaming for thousands of years in the thin atmosphere of the ice desert. The little blind spots in their visual field don't trouble them just like our own blind spot don't trouble us. They don't remember where they came from. But when the breeding season comes, Etelia starts to wander looking in the sky. When the light of the last star dies for her, she knows that she has returned to the place where she was born. She came there to sow the ice fields of Black Antarctica with her own body... again.

• Find a Pristine Snowflake on the Tundra level 10 and deeper, in the coldest areas of Europa. It's a big luck to find it, and it can happen only once for each Beastlord.
• Activate your Pristine Snowflake to make it grow.  It's not easy to reproduce the conditions where Etelia grows naturally. You will need a Lykos with Ice Breath and Ice Aura, 3 units of Liquid Deviance, 100 units of Pure Snow and 20 units of Crystalline Ice.
  • Click the item in your Warehouse and select "Activate" option to get to the activation page
  • The life of Ice Lykos will be dedicated to maintain the right environment for Etelia. You will irreversibly lose your Lykos when activating a Pristine Snowflake.
  • Pure Snow can be collected on the fields of Tundra in Explore
  • Crystalline Ice can be collected from wild Etelias in Tundra level 8 and deeper
• Etelia is born as a baby pet and will be growing 1 year (3 real life days) to form the adult body.
• Etelia can explore only Tundra biotope due to the harsh environment of the tropical Europa climate. However, she can participate in Arena and Battlefield battles as usual.
• When Etelia reaches the age of 10 years (30 days), she starts to search the island where she was born in order to breed. There's a small chance that every island that she enters will be her birthplace. Moving deeper doesn't count here, birthplace can be found only by entering the island through the portal in your manor. On this island you can allow your Etelia to breed. If you choose to breed her, you will lose your initial Etelia and get two new Pristine Snowflakes.
• There are 4 Blue Etelias, 4 Black Etelias and 4 White Etelias. You will get one of them randomly when you activate a Pristine Snowflake.
• Black and White Etelias can be obtained only after breeding your Etelia; you can't get them from the Pristine Snowflake found in Tundra. There is a 30% chance that a Prisitne Snowflake produced by a Blue Etelia will grow into a Black Etelia, and the one from a Black Etelia - into a White Etelia.
• The different structure and color of ice is the result of a parent Etelia living in artificial environment that can't fully reproduce the conditions of her natural habitat. Black and White Etelias are different only with their color, otherwise they are the same with the Blue ones.
• Due to their specifics, Etelias can't use the following items: Change Sex, Rainbow Jar, Ephemerae Coccoons, Yellow Fish Eggs, Neutering Serum.
• Etelia can't be sold.

I was wondering, are Etelias a seperate event from the toundra or can we expect both events to close at the same time?

Wow, thats really hard to get, maybe I found the event early enough to get a lykos with icebreath somewhere but my chances are REALLY low of getting the Etelia. My second kami event and this time i will try VERY hard to get the kami! Is this actually a kami?

Also, what are those green thingy-magingys that loo like portals in the tunda? When I have my pets go on it, nothing happens! I tryed doubble clicking but still, nothing happened! Could you please maybe give a hint of what i should do?

This is really complicated o-o Not to mention expensive - even if I explore the tundra the entire time I don't think I'll get the silver to buy all the schemes, let along find the pets required

I really hope the Etelia will return with the tundra each year because otherwise there's not going to be enough time to get all the different oucomes.

I agree! I am soooooo short of silver! At the moment I ONLY have 489 silver coins!

Here I was thinking I'd skip Tundra this year since I have all the Lykos I need. Then Angel introduces the Etalias to the game. Now I can't NOT participate. They are absolutely lovely <3

They all look so neat x.x I must have a full collection! Can't wait to test out my pet's strength on the high level islands!(Anyone know what the black ones look like?)

Edits: Found an Etelia at level eight, those things are TOUGH! Be very prepared and definatly go in with manual setting.

This Level 13 guardian to the next level is reeeeally tough, and im really unlucky because it keeps getting crits like this:

Here is a guide I am putting together while I explore the tundra.

How's everyone already getting to higher levels? I'm still waiting for my charged sticks to craft. 

A bunch of people had energy cells left over from last year.

I made tons in the past few weeks with my rocs. The sticks for the cells just needed granite to be made. I was prepared xD. Also bred some ice lykos because I had a suspcion they would be needed (might be able to breed some more for other people) and invited a magician.

The key is to try to be prepared for absolutly everything all the time. Sounds impossible huh xD

Oh and Meesh, dont worry bout buying the schemes from the shop. Youll have a good chance to find them while exploring and others who find them that way will probably sell them cheap in the auctions.

My preparations involved stockpiling granite and hoarding trash deviants.

If only I had hoarded trash deviants XD
