Arka dipped her head gratefully. “Thank you for saving me. I'd be honored to go to your camp.”

Frost smiled a little, but quickly returned to his serious face. “Great. I'm sure the other wolves will love you.”

They walked through the forest, until they came across a large dip in the ground, like a small crater.

“Welcome to camp. I'll let you get to know everyone. My den is to our left if you need me. We also have the Beta's den over there, to its right is the Healer's den. Healers take care of sick and injured wolves using berries and herbs. To the right of that is the Pups' den. They are for the pups who just came from their Birthing Den. Next to that is the Elders' den, for retired wolves, and after that, the Apprentices' den. That's for the pups in training. Some of the elders complain that their den is right next to the pups. Ha!

“Anyway, next to that is the Survivors' den. Survivors are adult wolves. They mentor the apprentices. I think you'll find your way around.

“Oh,” he added, his eyes twinkling with amusement. “They Prey Hole is over there. It's where we put leftover food.”

Arka snapped her head to where he flicked his tail, and began to drool. I never did get that rabbit...I wonder what the Thunder Pack wolves catch...?

Arka hungrily ran to the hole in the ground, and found a tasty rabbit inside. She quickly snatched it up, and was about to walk away with it when a yellow pup with brown ears and paws bumped into her, seemingly on purpose.

“I don't know you! Can we be friends?”

Again, you say what she does, I say the story. I meant where should she go/what will she do next. There isn't even a gang of she-wolves. Well, I dunno. In a camp this big, there probably is, but you get the point.

I don't want to make you feel like I'm taking the freedom from you, but I already have a plot set.

Arka padded around, wondering what she could do. Curious, she found the den closest to her, and looked inside.

She found an old, ragged, skinny gray wolf. He was sleeping, snoring loudly.

Arka was about to back out, when the wolf raised his head. His ear twitched, and he turned to face her.

“I've never smelled you before. New here, eh?”

“Uh, yeah. Sorry to bother you sir, I'll be going now.” Arka quickly backed out and faced the clearing again as the wolf laid his head back on his paws, snoring once again.
