Name: Dewstar

Dewstar sat on Lightrock, overlooking the SunClan clearing below her. “Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather under Lightrock for a clan meeting!” she yowled.

When she was satisfied enough cats had gathered, she told them that because of their recent victory over ShadeClan, anyone who wanted to go to the Gathering above kit age could go. “But because of our new...friend,” she meowed stiffly, glancing at Scarlett,“some must stay behind. Any volunteers?”

OOC: Volunteers will have no idea about the newest EmeraldClan, but I can always have a random warrior that no ones heard of stay behind.

OOC Fun Fact!: The Gathering is always held on an island surrounded by a river. On one end, it is a thick, rushing river, separating ShadeClan and Rainclan, the other are two small rivers(the island forked the river), seperating BreezeClan and SunClan. The space in between in free territory for anyone to hunt on, known as the Peace Hunting Grounds. RainClan and BreezeClan have a thunderpath separating their territories, but ShadeClan and SunClan have nothing, which is why so many battles are left unprevented.

I shook my head. I didn't want to stay at camp, again like a useless kit. Well, I would be guarding a fox, but I wanted action. This gathering was going to be interesting as well. I kept my tail down, so Dewstar knew I didn't want to volunteer and looked out, arcoss the other warriors, Was anyone volunteering?

Stunpaw sighed, and looked back and foward between the fox, and Dewstar. "I volunteer." she said, stepping through the crowd of cats.

I looked in suprise at Stunpaw. What a loyal cat! And not even a warrior, yet! I thought. Even though I wasn't her mentor, I was proud of her and hoped that Dewstar rewarded her by making her a warrior soon.

Name: Uh, A-Bunch-Of-Cats?!

Dewstar dipped her head at Stunpaw. “Thank you. You will make a fine warrior. I believe your assessment is in a few days?(OOC: wink wink)”

Dewstar hopped off Lightrock, which wasn't very high, and gathered the rest of the cats.

Soon, they had reached the stepping stones. Dewstar patiently waited for the others to cross. Suddenly, Swiftstrike slipped, falling into the water. Dewstar instantly was at his side, yanking him out of the water by his scruff.

“I'm such a mousebrain,” Swiftstrike muttered, lashing his tail.

“My mousebrain,” Dewstar purred.

They then proceeded to the Gathering. Dewstar hopped onto the large tree where the leaders stood, and waited for ShadeClan, late as usual.

When we arrived at the gathering area, I looked around. "Shadeclan is late again," I muttered, shaking my head. Making the other clans wait for them seemed very disrespectful to me.

OOC - When will EmeraldClan come in?

OOC: Now!

A loud rustling came from the undergrowth. Suddenly, a horde of cats streamed in.

“He's brought all his cats!” a warrior exclaimed.

“No, that's not ShadeClan,” Dewstar meowed, eyes glinting in the moonlight with curiousity.

When all the cats had sat down, one, a white she-cat with ginger splashes, leapt onto an empty branch where a leader would normally stand.

“She's in Thornstar's spot!” someone hissed. “She's crowfood now!”

But the she-cats lively eyes remained calm. “Me and my cats have traveled far from Twolegplace, in search of the great Clans! And today, we have found them,” she meowed, dipping her head. Pausing, she lifted it again,“We wish to join you, as EmeraldClan!”

There were many whispers at her last sentence. Dewstar hushed the crowd, but RainClan was already quiet, curious at the new news.

“And what, exactly, is an emerald?” a booming meow echoed across the clearing. More whispering picked up again as Thornstar and his warriors padded in from across the tree. Thornstar's eyes glittered with fury as he saw the she-cat in his spot.

She didn't seem to notice. “How do you not know what an emerald is? It's a green gem! Anyway, if we were to become EmeraldClan, I would be leader, Dawn Sky. And my mate and deputy would be Sparrow Wing. And my medicine cat would be Wandering Souls. Although I'm not quite sure where our territory would be...”

“Nowhere!” Thornstar snarled. “Back at Twolegplace! Preferably dead!”

Even the ShadeClan Warriors were exchanging nervous glances at this point. Thornstar was the hunter, and at one time or another, the prey would be caught.

I sat quietly through "Dawn Sky's" little speech, my mind reeling. When I heard a cat say something about her being in Thornstar's spot and crowfood, I snapped back to my senses. I softly growled after that and when Thornstar and his clan arrived I was almost relieved, he would send them back to their place quickly. For once I agreed with the Shadeclan leader. Moused-brained little kittypets! Dawn Sky didn't even have a leader's name!

“Ahem,” Rosestar coughed politely. “Uh, Dawn Sky? I'm not so sure everyone agrees with this. It is rude to barge into the clans and announce yourself a leader.”

Dawn Sky's face fell. “B-but we came all this way!”

“Then make a clan in your old home!” Thornstar snarled.

“Wait!” Thrushstar of RainClan spoke. “What if this happened to you? You've traveled many miles to a new home, but when you get there, everyone drives you out! My dreams would be crushed!”

Dawn Sky nodded. Rosestar simply shuffled her feet. “I'm not sure now.” she admitted.

“Mousebrains!” Thornstar yowled. “She could be a threat!”

I considered Thrushstar's arugment. It made sense, but I was still sceptical. I didn't quite agree with Thornstar anymore, but I wasn't on Thrushstar's side either. Rosestar had said what I was thinking and so far I was on her side, Dawn Sky was being kinda rude. I waited to see what Dewstar would say, I had a feeling that she would feel the same as me and somehow take both sides, but I wasn't sure.

(OOC: Gonna do my introduction post now. I hope it looks okay.)

Name(s): Lightpaw and Blackpaw

 Lightpaw watched Blackpaw as he paced in the clearing. He had been at it for a while, and she figured it was about time to stop him.

"You can stop that now." She informed him, gently placing her tail on his shoulder.

The young tom looked at her like he wanted to argue, but seemed to realize it was pointless. He sat down with a resigned sigh.

"I just wonder what's going on." He muttered. "It seems like we miss everything."

Lightpaw couldn't disagree with what Blackpaw said; for once, he was actually right. "Well, I'm sure someone will tell us what happened at the Gathering tomorrow." She flicked his ear with her tail-tip. "We may as well go back to the apprentices' den."

OOC: Great!

Name: Tumblekit

Tumblekit quickly ran over to Blackpaw.

“Hello, Blackpaw! You were a rogue, right? I thought they were vicious prey-stealers!” Tumblekit slowly bent closer to sniff him, nearly falling on his snout. “You don't look like a prey-stealer...?”

Blackpaw blinked in surprise. "Well, um-"  He stammered, with a nervous look at Lightpaw.

"Blackpaw's harmless," Lightpaw explained to the kit. "And he wouldn't steal from anyone. Right, Blackpaw?" Her blue eyes glinted with amusement as she looked at the tabby apprentice.

 He nodded hesitantly. "That's right." He confirmed, flashing Lightpaw a grateful look.

Name: Tumblekit

Tumblekit squealed. “I like you! Bye!” Tumblekit bounced away.

Meanwhile...

Location: Gathering

Name: Uh, everyone I own?

Dewstar snapped ner head back and forth, following the conversation, before finally meowing,“Enough!”

The rest of the leaders stared at her, Rosestar patiently, Thornstar frustratedly, and Thrushstar hopefully. Dawn Sky simply stared.

“We cannot fight over this! I'm honestly not sure who to side with, but nevertheless, these cats need a place to stay. Look at them! They're starving! Now, I'm not saying they have to stay,” Dewstar continued as Thornstar snarled,“but for now, they need somewhere to stay. They will be allowed in my camp for the time being.”

Yowls of protest from a couple SunClan warriors arose, RainClan joined them with welcome when Thrushstar yowled,“Me too.”

Rosestar dipped her head. “I suppose it's the right thing to do. They might as well stay with me.”

The rest of the leaders glanced at Thornstar, waiting. His eyes grew furious. “I'm not letting these mange-pelts invade my territory! And I'm not coming to a single Gathering until they're all out!” Thornstar stalked out of the forest, followed by his few warriors.

Dawn Sky watched him go, then turned to the others gratefully. “I don't know how we can thank you, but we can't be split! We must stay together!”

Dewstar thought for a moment. “I know just where you can stay,” she meowed slowly.

“It's by their clans,” Rosestar added,“the clans who support you,”

“But away from ShadeClan!” Thrushstar finished, catching on.

“The Peace Hunting Grounds!” They yowled triumphantly.

“It's an island just south of this one! Between mine and Rosestar's territories, cornered by Thrushstar's. We used to use it for hunting, but it's the perfect spot for you!” Dewstar meowed.

“We can tell Thornstar we drove you out!” Thrushstar meowed.

“What if Thornstar hunts there?” Rosestar meowed timidly.

“He never does!” Thrushstar scoffed. “He doesn't want us to think he doesn't have enough prey! And it's not taking our territories either.”

“Thank you! Oh, thank you!” Dawn Sky rushed. “We don't have to go to Gatherings anyway, we don't beleive in...MoonClan, is it?”

OOC: MoonClan is the same as StarClan, except instead of worshiping stars, they also worship the moon, since it is just as sacred. I should make up a myth about that.

The Gathering then dispersed, and the clans headed to their clans, including the new, EmeraldClan.

OOC: I apologize if this isn't what you wanted, but they aren't in the territories. I hope you liked the compromise, I lierally just thought about it.
