"Don't worry, even if this cave was struck, all we'd feel is a shake as the energy gets dispersed into the ground," she says laughing a little at Goldenscale's reaction, "Why don't you on back over here. It'll be warmer if we stay together."

Goldenscale slowly crawled out from underneath the bed, her head almost touching the ground.  She then ran over to them and curled up between them, her wings covering her.

"You'll always be safe with us. Not even the sky will change that," she said placing a wing over Goldenscale before laying her head down to watch the rain."

"Even if it's very angry?" she asked, taking her head out from underneath a wing.

"Yes, I will not let harm come to you. Even if a diety of the elements threatens you, I will protect you," she said with a smile, "I wont loose you like I did Chiei, not if I can help it."

"I'm here to protect you to." Frost says with a grin.

"I'm not worried about the elements other than lightning.  Lightning has emense power that could...seriously...hurt someone." she said quietly.

"So long as you're not the highestt thing around, you will be fine in a storm. Lightingchooses the path of least resistance, and that usually is the tallest or highest object in the area. Rarely will it strike something shorter or lower than the surounding objects," she said reassuringly, "Being in a cave will eliminate any possibility of being struck, just because there is earth and stone above  your head to lead it away."

"Thats right besides lighting can help the earth actually. When it strikes the ground using a lighting rod. It can fertilize the ground bringing forth more healthy trees and plants."

"Okay... That's good then..." she said quietly.

"Just like fire, lighting is destructive in nature, but can be used to create life like Frost said. I have heard of people being struck and instead of being killed, they get healed in some way or form. Last year we had someone get struck. They didn't wake for about a week, but once they did they reported that they had regained their sight," she said as another loud crash filled the cave, "Lighting nature's strongest simbol of might and mystery due to its properties."

"yep" Frost says.

Goldenscale peeped her head put from underneath her wings and looked outside.  "Wow, I didn't know that..." sue said.

"I wouldn't go out and try and get struck though. It could kill you just as easily as it could heal," she said, "Humans have used lightning to power some of their larger machines, but those are mostly portals they use to get to the flooded islands. A lot of wizards use it to power their spells though devices ment to store the energy."

Frost gets up and makes an ice barrier to the front of the entrance, "watch and there will be a show." he says coming back to lay down.
