"Long ago, I made a vow to protect everything that lives.  But even before I loved helping others.  But the kindness others showed me gave me after I was...attacked...early on in my childhood gave the inspiration to create that vow.  So now I want to help my own kind after helping all the others.  Though there are others that would disagree with me that it is something I need to do, it is something I wholeheartedly want to do." she said with a smile.  She sat down on the ground.

"A promise made to one's self is one most often kept. We haven't had someone as dedicated to helping others in the council for decades. Maybe someday, you'll take my place as the head of the council. Time will only tell," he said with a smile, "Since we took care of two issues with agreeing to train new sentries and build a better barrier, we have no other issues tonight. Is there anything anyone would like to bring to our attention?"

Goldenscale looked around at the dragons to see if anyone had any issues that needed to be discussed.

After a few minutes of silence the council head spoke up. "Seeing as no one has any issues, we are done for the night. Everyone get some rest, we have a busy day tomarow," he said looking over everyone before stopping at Goldenscale, "Don't bother comming in for the morning meeting, you need as much rest as you can get with those injuries."

She opened her mouth to protest, but she then closed it again.  "But I'm coming in the next day." she said before bowing slightly to the elders and leaving.  She then went to the willow tree and collapsed on her trunk.  "Now I have to rest all day tomorrow." she told the tree.  *It's probably a good idea.  The more you don't rest, the harder it will be for your body to heal itself.* she said.  "But you know I can't sit still for that long."  *You must try.* she persisted.  "Fine." she stated before looking up at the stars.

"You could always ask us to do some work for you," Tieral said looking up from his place at the base of the willow, "As your personal enforcers, we are to do whatever you ask or tell us to."

"Honestly, I don't know what to do, or start on first.  I know I need to get the details on my house, I need to go train, I need to rest, and I need to learn everything about my kind.  I think resting should be first, but I don't know if Mayumi needs me to do anything before she leaves, I probably shouldn't train in my current states, but everything else I can do.  My mind is lost." she said.  *Then ask Mayumi if she needs anything to be done before she goes.* the willow said.  Goldenscale only sighed for her mind was undecided.

"If you want to ask her, do it now. She's in her home picking up a few last thing," Tieral said, "She won't be long."

"Alright." she said.  She then got up with some difficulty and went to Mayumi's home.  She peeked her head around the corner and walked in.  "You need help with anything before you leave?" she asked quietly.

"Not really. I could use someone to watch over my home fore the night, but that isn't necessary," Mayumi said turning to Goldenscale, "Thieves aren't common here, but the thought of someone watching over my valuables brings a little less worry."

"I'll watch over your house.  The council won't let me do anything else, so I can do it." she offered.  

"As a council member, they can't force you to do anything, only suggest . Anyways, it would be nice if you did stay and watch over," Mayumi said with a smile before picking us the wrapped cake, "I left something for you and Frost in the back. When he gets back, you and he can go see."

"OK, I'll tell him.  Have a good trip." she said.

"I should be back by tomarow morning. I will see ou then," Mayumi said before leaving.

"OK, I might be sleeping." she said with a smile and a slight wave.
