"Being spiritually alone is like being emotionally oral one, but you have nothing that can properly fill the hole that is left behind," Tieral said looking into the ball of water, "To Mayumi, you partialy  fill that in her."

"She makes no effort to mask her thoughts, you could easily pick up on them with your mind is you just tried. She hides what she feels and think from others in fear that they would see her as weak since she can't let the past go, even after twenty years," he said watching as the ball of water shifted with each exertion of his mind, "You're the only one who she's shared her past with."

"I know this. She holds onto the past in such a way that she refuses to move on. Remebering someone lost shouldn't keep one from ever trying to regain happiness like it has her," Tieral said using the ball of water to give Mayumi's thoughts form, "I understand how she feels, I've seen her past in my dreams."

Goldenscale's eyes turned green again as she listened to the trees. "They say that she is learning to remember and move on. She hopes to find peace in herself by visiting Chiei. For some, the process of loosing someone is harsh so it takes them longer to find the peace within themselves. But they always find it in the end." she said as she relayed back what the trees told her. "For everyone, the happiness is day and the anger and sorrow is night. But no matter how long the night is, there will always be day after the night has finished it's course." she said walking over to a large tree outside of the cave. She placed a gentle hand upon the tree's bark. "They understand more about life now than we would in our long lives. But through their silence, they teach us."

"Nature can teach us so much, if we only listen. I've been hearing what nature has to say for years, but due to training, I haven't been able to properly listen," Tieral said letting the ball return to the puddle he pulled it from, "The voice of the tree is what has kept me sane through the years of reliving the past of those around me night after night."

"When one can not speak, then tend to listen. It was all I could do until I learned to speak with my mind. Until recently, they were my only friends," he said curling up at the base of the tree, "I'm glad you chose me as one of your first enforcers. You'll make the council's system fair once again, if your current actions are any indication."

"Your aura showed me that you had potential. As for making the council's system fair again, I might be able to." she said. She then remembered what the coucil asked her earlier. "The council said I could have a home inside the cave. I plan on planting a willow tree inside it when they are done. But I need to get the measurements for the size of my home first. So then I won't have to come out here all the time." she said. She'll get that done soon enough. She smiled and made a humming sound from within her chest.

"Each council member is expected to have a home in the cave. They don't have to stay there, but it makes those times where issues take several day to resolve easier to deal with since they have a place they can sleep near by. Most of them live in caves dotting the valley below so that they can keep humans from finding the society they have built and protected," Tieral said before looking towards the cave as a shreek eminated from the general dierection, "That didn't sound good."

Goldenscale jumped from the tree and ran towards then sound.  She disconnected from the trees as she ran.

"Sounded like it came from inside the cave. It was more of a mental screem, but I'm sure plenty of other people heard it," Tieral said as they reached the barrier entrance.

Goldenscale continued to run towards the sound.
