"I hope she can..." she said quietly.  She had been listening to the willow's teachings, but her mind kept wandering on the brinks of her insanity.  'Why do I care so much about the deaths of otjers?  Am I really that much of a weakling that I can't understand that that's the way of life?' she thought to herself.  

"She wasn't alive you know this right?" Frost said as he came outside. "She had already pass. Someone brought her back to life."

"Doesn't exactly make it easier for me, though..." she said quietly.  She sighed and closed her eyes again.  

"Don't beat yourself up. The whole concept of death was just dumped on you all at once. Most of us are introduced a little at a time, but you just got it all at once, even if she was already dead," Tieral saidreaching into both Goldenscale's and Frost's mind so that they both could hear him.

"But dead before or not, no one has ever died in my care... not once, not when I was starting, nor had it until she did.  But I could have done something, I always can, no matter what..." she said quietly.  She just dug her claws into the palms of her hands, grateful for something to take her mind off of the subject, even if it was only for a second.

"Goldenscale. She had perished. when i went into the pit her neck had been snapped. Someone or something had resurrected her. They desacrated her. Alura never was that obsessive. i should know since she was.... going to be the one i was going to marry." Frost had silenced after saying that.

"If you need something to get this off your mind, you might try going to one of the schools or the orphanage and offer to talk to the hatchlings. I'm sure they'd be happy to hear what you have to say, "Tieral said looking over to the school yard by Mayumi's home, "Sometimes the best way to deal with these kind of issues is to talk it out with someone. You might just go to Mayumi and talk things over with her. All three of you have lost someone in some way or form, you'd all be on the same level."

"You could have been left for any number of reasons. You care for the world around you like no one else, but that does not mean you're odd. Everyone is different in how they see things and how they act. You have a caring soul," Tieral said having fallowed Goldenscale to Frost's home and waited at the entrance, "Be glad you don't have to live part of someone's past every night."

She signed and fell on her ehind. "I give up with trying to understand why things are the way they are. I try to understand, but I'm an idiot. I can't understand thsese things. I try to prevent them as though I can. I act the opposite than what I feel. I talk words of wisdom when in reality, I can't find the same after years of searching." she said with some emotion. "But that's the thing. I'm always so worried about others that I don't know how to deal with my own, only others. And when I have time to reflect what I've done, I don't know how to deal with anything. Nothing good has shown potential to me, not until a couple days ago. I was a lost soul, nothing good would happen to me. I'd become part of a family and I was moved to another. I was left to die when I hatched and after that dragon attacked me. And to keep myself from thinking about myself, I think of others..." she said quietly. She had never thought in depth about herself before, let alone outloud. This was new to her, as was being here.

"Mayumi sees her daughter in you. She want's to protect you, but she can't get past her own failures," Tieral said holding his head, "She doesn't want to loose you."

"Mayumi isn't worried that you would loose yourself. She worries that something will take you like what happened to Chiei. She's afraid she can't be there when she's needed most," Tieral saidlooking into the puddle that was forming just in front of the cave, "She fears that if she starts a new family in any way, it will be taken from her like her last."

"Not that kind of taken," he said forming a sphere out of the water, "Her mind is filled with hole from those who have been taken before their time. She's been spiritually alone for longer than I can tell."
