Standing outside, people from all over the community were holding furnature ans supplies of all sorts while Rhidik stod at the front with Kasra.

"We've come to give her gifts, for both her and her hatchlings. As such an important member of this community, she has not gotten the respect she deserves, and this will also serve as an appology for not supporting her through the rough times," Rhidik said, stepping forward, "She has done so much for all of us, yet all she has ever got in return is pain and suffering. It is time we change that."

Goldenscale smiled.  "Let me go get her." she said with a smile as she went to Mayumi.  "Mom, there's a surprise outside." she said as she poked her head in the doorway.

"What kind of surprise are we talking about? I need to finish this expansion as soon as I can," Mayumi said, working on a wall that went straight down across he room as a devider, "Aside from you, Tieral, and Ahnah, I have no one to help me. I can't rely on the community like they do me as they wouldn't do anything to help."

"The back half of the room will be devided into three equal sections," she said, handing Goldenscale the slab she was holding, "I'll see what is outside." Giving a nod, Mayumi left the room, heading for the front door.

After a few minutes, Mayumi returned with Rhidik and kasra at her sides. "I spoke too soon," she said, several of the community  members fallowing behind her, "This will be finished today. Then we can start decorating."

"Alright everyone, pick up a slab or two and we can get this finished in no time," she said, nodding to the pile of slabs. After about an hour, the room was finished and everyone was starting to move the furnature in.

Inside the nest, the three hatchlings were letting out cries, trying to call for Mayumi.

"They're probably hungry, they haven't had anything to eat since they finished the berries you gave them," Mayumi said, cutting up a small piece of meat into chunks the hatchlings could handle before lightly cooking it, "It is about lunch time anyways."

Goldenscale frowned and nuzzled them, trying to calm them.

Stepping over to the nest, Mayumi handed each hatchling a chunk of meat. "There, that should hold them till supper," she said, watching the hatchlings eat, "I hope nothing takes me away from them, or them away form me."

"As long as you all are in the forest, you will all be protected.  And I will make sure that nothing can take them from us." she purred.

"I just hope nature allows me to live long enough to see them grow to adulthood," she said, nuzling Frost as the hatchling bit into her chunk of meat, "It's something I neve got to see with Chiei, and I hope to see them thrive."
