"If Moonlight is allowed back sometime, then she would make sure that you would see them grow.  She will protect her beloved helper's family." she said with a smile.  "I'm sure of it."

"I know, but eventually my time will come to leave this life. It's just one of those fears you can't help but think about, especially after loosing someone,"she said, holding the blue crystal around her neck, "I find myself pathetic for avoiding the pain of loosing Frost, but I know that if I don't, I might end myself."

"And ending yourself is something that no one should do.  And as you put it yourself, you didn't want mto see me a a mother until you're fifty." she said with a chuckle.  "At least continue avoiding the pain until you are out of the suicide part of the depression.  I'm not even sure I would be able to survive through it unscathed...  And you are far from pathetic, mom."

"All the more reason to stay alive. I want to be there for you when you need me," she said, taking the crystal off and putting it around Frost's neck, "I have so much to look forward to, and I must survive to see it all."

"And hopefully, you will." she said as she sat up and looked at Mayumi.

"With how everything has been going, my chances of suvival are growing. I'm glad the council has changed for the better, I wont be bothered by them as much," she said, nuzzling Goldenscale, "Soon enough, Moonlight will be able to manifest in a solid form here once more."

Goldenscale nuzzled Mayumi back and began to purr.  "A lot seems to have changed while I am here." she said observantly.

"I just wish I could have done more for you during you short time here," she said, startin to purr aswell, "I'll be sure to have something prepared for your returne."

"You don't have to, and I couldn't have asked for more.  Just you being here was all I needed." she said.

"After you being gone for a year, your return would be warent enough to have a celebration if you ask me," she said, glancing over to Ahnah as shel eaned over the hatchlings.

"Maybe.  And I might look different when I return, just to let you know.  I probably won't get much bigger, though" she said.

"A year may change a lot about someone, but at your age the changes will be almost minimal. Besides, i expect you to look different, it will be a whole year before I see you in person  once you leave," she said with a smile, "While you're herre tomarow, I might teach you of the different kinds of dragons out there. You know of common and fae breeds, but there are eight other breeds that you should know about."

"Before I forget, I should probably tell you not t celebrate until the day after I arrive.  I plan on flying nonstop there and back, which mean's I'll be sleeping for a while.  Ahnah, I'll probably have to carry." she said.

"I have more stamina than you think," Ahnah said, "It's one of the few things I can thank my father for."

"I'll keep that in mind. You will deserve every bit of rest you get when you return," Mayumi said, chuckling as she watched Ahnah tickle Gian, "It'll also give me enough time to properly prepare everything."

"Just as long as you know I'll be on time, exhausted." she said with a chuckle.  "And Ahnah, try to keep up." she said, looking at her with a smile on her face.
