"I may have a disapproved diet, but I do what I can to help those around me," he said, pulling a rotting log over the burried body, "Sometimes it's those who live on a hated path that prove to be the kindest."

"May the Gladeskeeper guide you home then," he said, walking over to sit by the lake, "And let her branches bring you peace."

(Sorry for the late reply.) "May the same go for you." she said as she began to walk back to Mayumi's. She soon walked into the door. "I found some maggots." she said.

"Good, the protien inside them will help her recoveer faster," Mayumi said, nodding to Ahnah who was still holding Ece, "Ahnah has been able to get Ece's temperature down so she isn't in danger of internally overheating."

"Good.  I'm going to wake her and give her some of the medicine." she said as she went over to Ece and placed a hand on her forehead.  "Ece, wake up." she said quietly.

"She's been having fits like she might be stuck in a nightmare. I've done all i can to keep her calm, but something in her dreams has her completely terrified and partially trapped," Ahnah said, watching as Ece began to shake again, "Mayumi says the dreams she's having may be a after effect from her fever. She's been this way a little after you left."

"Why does this keep happening," Ece asked, letting out a low whine in her sleep.

"Tieral left to ask the willow if there was any way to help Ece since he couldn't find a way. If you fail with this idea, then the will should know a way we can help her," Ahnah said, "I hope your idea works, it makes me sad to see her in such a state."

Feeling Goldenscale's touch, Ece tried to reach out and grasp Goldenscale's face only to fail  when she pulled back after the kiss. After a few more attempts, she curled back up with tears running down her face.

Goldenscale took Ece from Ahnah's arms and cradled her as she tried to reach her aura to Ece's.

When Ece's aura connected to Goldenscale's, visions of a dark wooden, hollow like, room suruonded Goldenscale's mind's eye. Just outside the opening, the sound of snapping bones and the screams of three faes could be heard.

"Sading outside the hollow was the red dragon from the food booth, his head hidden in the grass between him and Goldenscale. Being in the perspective Ece had, the world seemed deveral hundred times larger than normal, making the red dragonseem like a giant among giants. In a near by bush, a soft crying could bearly be heard over the snapping of bones.
