As Ahnah took hold of Ece, Ice crystals were already starting to form on the edges of her fur. "Poor gilr must have picked up something in her travels. A child her age should never be traveling the world. Their imune systems are just not enough to keep them well," Ahnah said, feeling the heat being generated by Ece, "I'm glad she found us before now. At least now she has people who know how to deal with this illness."

"OK, seeing as she's asleep, I made a paste version of the potion. There should be enough doses in this bottle to last her through her cold," Mayumi said, scrapping the centens of her mortar into a glass container with a small spoon and handing the container and spoon to Goldensscale, "With her being so small, she shouldn't need more than a spoonful of the paste. If we've caught it early enough, she wont even need the whole container."

"Why'd you have to be taken away Mama," Ece asked in her sleep as she shfted around.

"When she wakes, give her something to eat and a spoonful of the medicine. She should never take it without something to eat first though," Mayumi said, putting the mortar and pestle  away, "It would be best if you woke her up. The quicker the medicine gets in her,, the fast it can take effect."

"They eaiest place to get insects would be from the rotting remain of a creature. Magots and flies should be the most plentiful. That may not sound like a good meal for her, but they contain more protien and other needed nutrients," Mayumi said, opening a box and pulling  out a small brown bag and handing it to Goldenscale, "They also have achemical properties, but I can spare a hand full of dried magots. Ece needs them more than me."

(What is the name of the cannabalistic dragon?) "I'll go get her some fresh ones. This won't last forever hopefully, and you will need these. I'll be back." she said as she set the jar and spoon down and left for the cave by the lake.

"Didn't expect to see you today," Asmada said, meeting Goldenscale at the lake," I'm guessing i've been found out. Some tundra girl came earlier around lunch time checking the place over."

"There's a body burried just outside my cave. I didn't quite get to it in time to preserve it, so there's plenty of maggots  crawling in it," he said, washing his claws off in the lake, "Would you mind me asking why you need maggots?"

"It's cleaner than you think this early on in the cycle of decay. A few more hours and that would be very accurate," he said, gathering the displaced dirt back into a pile to be placed back over the body, "I didn't think faes took up residence in this forest. Can't say I've ever tried one, but from what I've heard, I wouldn't like the taste anyways."

"Well, you can strike me off your list of people to watch out for with her. I've already decided a long time ago that faes are off my menue. For one, they are way to small, and I'm going to take other people's word on what they taste like," he said, helping to cover the body again, "I'd be willing to protect her should the need ever be."
