"I find it wonderful that I can be there for someone who needs it. I want to those around me to have a different life than what I had to go through, so they can be happy." she said as she nuzzled Alekai.

"I can sympothise with you there. These two need parent who willtreat them as they should. Ece needs it more than Alekai, but they both deserve having a caring family," he said, feeling Ece's forehead with the back of his paw, "Whatever it is Ece has picked up, it has her temperature going crazy."

"No offence taken, I know what problems I have. We must do what's best for Alekai and Ece, even if it means pointing out a flaws in each other," he said, carefuly handing Ece to Goldenscale, "I don't mind peoplpe pointing out my faults anyways, i only care if they act on them."

"So long as you make it clear you mean no offence, most people wont care if you point out flaws or not," he said, finding two large cold rocks and wrapping his wings around them to cool himself off, "I don't care because i've heard it all said before. I'm imperfect and I wouldn't have it any other way."

When Goldenscale took Ece, Ece felt like a hot ember taken off a fresh fire. As she was cradled, she began to shiver and her breathing was ragged.

"You didn;t make it worse, she's just got a cold. Sometimes a cold slowly takes effect, sometimes it just hits all at once," Mayumi said, checking Ece's condition, "I can't cure her, but I can make something that will help her recover. Other than that, she just needs rest and plenty of water."

"Again, you did nothing wrong. If anything, you helped by making her body react to the heat it was generating," Mayumi said, handing Ece back to Goldenscale before grabbing a mortar and pestle and some herbs, "Do what you can to keep her temperature down. If it gets too high, she might die or at the very least have major internal injuries. It'll take me a few minutes to get the medecine ready. You might ask Ahnah to make you some ice for Ece."

"You need help," Ahnah asked,stepping into the shop, "What seems to be the problem?"

"Here, let me see her," she said, holding her wings out for Ece, "I'm always having to shake off ice out of my fur."

Goldenscale gently handed Ece over to Ahnah.
