"Interconnecting pieces, usually made of metal or stone, that transfer movement from one piece top the other through teeth along the outside rim. When one gear spins, any gears directly connected to that one will spin in the opposite direction," TIeral said as he fallowed Goldenscale, "Not the best description, but close enough for what you want to know."

"That's good enough for me to understand," Ece said, clinging to Goldenscale's neck, ""You three may not be able to truly replace Mama and Papa, but it'll be nice to have a family again."

"Well, if Aimée  is here, we only have to fill out some paperwork. If she's not, we'll have to go through a few interviews and then fill out the paperwork," Tieral said, opening and holding the door for Goldenscale, "If they need to know anything, they'll ask."

'Well, well, look who's here," Aimée said, looking up from her papers to see GOldenscale, "What occasion brings everyone's favorite council member here this morning?"

"Alright, all I need is their ages and date of hatching," she said, pulling a few stack of papers out, "After that, I'll need you and Tieral to sign these."

"I turned three six days ago," Ece sighed, wrapping around her satchel again.

"What a troubled soul she is. At least she's being taken in by someone caring," Aimee said, placing Alekai's papers off to the side.

"That's why I'm going to take her in, that and I thought she was too young to travel on her own." Goldenscale said.

"Well, she's come into good hands," she said, taking out two forms and handing one of Goldenscale and the other to Tieral, "Now, I just need you to fill these out."

Goldenscalw filled oit her form amd gave it back to Aimèe.

Reading over Tieral's and Goldenscale's forms for a moment, Aimèe filed the forms away. Taking out two slips, she handed them to GOldenscale and Tieral. "Alrgith, that's all you need to do here. Now, you just need to take these slips tot he council building so that Ece and Alekai can be registered as residence," she said with a smile, "I wish the best of luck to you."

"Once we have all the paperwork done, do you think we should stop by Mayumi's and introduce Ece," TIeral asked, fallowing along side Goldenscale, "IF anything, it will give Mayumi something better to think about."
