"Yes, I think we should. If not, then she will be furious with me..." she said. "But Ece and Alekai will be happy, so that's all that matters." Goldenscale said with a smile as she walked in the building.

"We weren't expecting you back any time today," the worker at the counter said, seeing Goldenscale, "How can I help?"

"I want to register these two as residents, please." she said with a smile.

"I only see one, but I assume the other is one your person somewhere," the worker said, taking out a set of papers, "I'm also guess they're both adopted. If that's the case, you should have two slips that I need."

"Let's see here," he said,taking the slips and copying the information onto the forms he had. "OK, since you and Tieral are taking custody of Ms. Ece and Mr. Alekai, I will need you both to sign this one form," he said, turning a single piece of paper towards Goldenscale, "Once this is done, it willl take two to five days for it to be processed. Until then, you retain the option to cancel the adoption should you wish to. Any time after prcessing will require and abandoment form. While it is highly unlikely that you'll need either piece of information, I am required to infomr you on your options."

After signing the paper, Tieral pushed it back to the worker. "Alright, that has everything done. Ece and Alekai are yours. Do take good care of them," he said, sticking the paper into a slot in the wall, "Is there anything else I can do for you?"

"Since we'll be stopping by Mayumi's, do you think we should bring something to eat? I do not recall seeing Ricken bring in the food stores from Frost's cave," Tieral said," picking up Alekai and fallowing Goldenscale.

"I would probably be best if we avoid food that might remind her of Frost," he said, looking to the festival booths, "We might try finding somthing in the booths. I know she didn't go too far into the festival so most of the food booths are still unknown to her."

"What's a 'festival," Ece asked, looking over the top of Goldenscale's head to see the booths.

"Whatever you think is best, Tieral." Goldenscale replied. "A festival is a special gathering during a certain time of year where you can play games and eat different foods. You can also get to know others better during these." she explained to Ece.

"Sounds like the Greenskeeper Gathering Mama always talked about," she said, slowly becoming quiet. Slipping down, she came to rest between Goldensca;e's wing where she curled  up an went silent.

"The easiest booths to get food from are on the other end of the festival. We can go to one of the closer ones, but we'l be waiting a while for those," Tieral said, watching Ece, "I can see why you wanted to adopt her."
