"I actually never had a mother to watch over me until now, Ece. Well, I have my original mother and my adoptive mother now. And now, if you want, I could act like a mom if you like." she offered. "No one should go without a mother."

"Maybe once you get back after your search. It would only do harm to start now when you'll be leaving for a year soon," she said, laying down between Goldenscale's wings, "It's been two years since I lost Moma, I can wait one more year."

"Alright, just give me a moment to fix this pice of crystal in place," Tieral said, the sound of grinding crystal coming from just the other side of him.

"Um, is he ignoring you," Ece asked, having not heard Tieral's voice in her head, "He seems to be working on something against the wall."

"You didn't have to tell me there's energy in the wall. I can sense the light energy trapp deep in the wall," Ece said, climbing onto GOldenscale's head and watching Tieral, "He must have been the light being I sensed the other day."

"I wouldn't say I'm a light being. I'm more a channeler of energy," Tieral said, making sure Ece could hear him. "SO, who's the little sprite you have with you," he asked, walking over to Goldenscale, watching as Ece slid back down behind her head, "Shy little girl isn't she?"

"Yes... Her name is Ece. She found me earlier and I found out she was orphaned twice, once by her parents, a second time by her other guardian. So I was wondering if we could adopt her. Her aura says she is young to already be on her own. I don't want to have to have her go through the rough times I went through." she said, nuzzling Tieral.

"I don't see why not, no one needs to go without caring parents. We'll either have to keep her a secret from the council, or tell them and have to go through the paper work asociated though. I'll leave that decision to you," he said, starting to stretch, "You might want to introduce her to Alekai, if you can find him. He's around here somewhere. The last time I saw him, he had crawled up into the willow's branches."

Climbing down from the willow, Alekai ran over to Goldenscale and scidding to a halt in front of her.

"He seems different. He's not like any other draong I've encounteered. His aura is all held in one spot instead of filling his bady," Ece said, carefully looking around Goldenscale's neck to see Alekai, "What kind of dragon is he?"

"Hello Ece," Alekai chirped, his eyes starting to glow a little brighter.

"Um..... h-hello," Ece said nevously, the idea of a living machine not setting well in her mind.

"Well, he doesn't really act like a machine. I gave him a free mind and a soul, so he wouldn't be like any other." she said.

"What's a machine," Ece asked, watching as Alekai sat up to show his glass panel and crystal, "All I understand is that he's alive. I don't know what gears are either."

"Well, if we're going to adopt her, we'll need to bring her with us to the council building and orphanage," Tieral said, picking up Alekai, "We can do the same with Alekai. Then we wouldn't have to worry about someone finding out about him and looking down on us for it."
