"Right now, the council id devided evenly. Half believes Mayumi is inocent, and the other half believes her guilty. Those who belive her guilty, say all of our testimonies can be chalked up to just word of mouth  and not acually evidence. Only Goldenscale's testimony seems to be holding any merit," she said, looking back down to the runes, "That isn't good. In the event of a stalemate, the party on trial is given a lesser verion of the punishment. There is no lesser punishment for murder. If the half on our side doesn't any support fromthe other half, we'll need to get Mayumi out of there. All death sentences are dealt with as soon as they're ordered."

"And it shall not happen.  Even though some places are protected from magic from the outside, I am an exception to all rules and I can go and save her.  They will know not to mess with my judgement if they even try to carry it put." Moonlight said with a frown.

"They're ten minutes in on a thirty minute discusion. If they don't break the stalemate by then, we'll need to work fast," she said as the runes went silent, "I don't know what we'll do once we get her out of there though."

"She will continue to live here.  She will be protected by me though, which means that nothing, absolutely nothing, can harm her in any way, shape, or form.  That I can promise you.  But I have a way to save her if it does go through.  Within my plan, they will finally understand who I am and maybe they will understand my judgement."

"It's good to hear we have the very essence of nature on our side," she saidThis cave needs to be brought back to the old tales. Regardless of if Mayumi is charged or not."

"It does seem that way.  How much time do we have left?" she asked.

"Five minutes," she said, "Still no sign of the stalemate breaking though."

"If they don't do anything soon, then I will." she said with a frown.

"I know, and time is almost up," she said,closeing her eyes for a moment, "We need to be ready."

Moonlight got up and began to pace.  "I may need you at any time, Goldenscale so be ready." she told her.  Goldenscale looked up, hopelessness in her eyes.  "I'll try..." she said quietly.

"Don't forget, we're all here if you needs us," Tieral said, stepping up beside Goldenscale.

"He's right. Weall stand for the same cause right now, why shouldn't we work together as well," Ahnah said, looking up for a moment before returning to the rune, "They're getting ready to set the order. We don't have much time."

"Make sure your ancestors are listening for the final judgement. The second it os said, I need to know. Tieral, what kind of weapons would they use for this?" she asked.

"They'll be using a dagger spcifically made and enchanted to cut through the hide of any dragon. They'll try to aim for the neck of heart for a quick kill," Tieral said, "The enchantment on it doesn't actually make it cur dragon skin beter, it just makes one cut act as though it was ten thousand cuts. The dagger is made of darksteel. Darksteel is much more receptive of magic than normal steel."

"If you start that way now, you'll get there when they issue the order," Ahnah said, watching the timer the runes had made count down, "Darksteel is just like steel, acept that it is forged in fire fulled by dark energy."
