"Alright, restrain her," a council member said as two enforcers grabbed Mayumi and held her against the ground. Stepping over to a wall, he opened a hidden panel and pulled out the dagger.

"What kind of council kills a mother before her cluch can hatch," Mayumi asked as the council member aproached her.

"Does no one remember the old storiestheir parents told them anymore," one of the Council members from the back of the group asked as he made his way forward and giving the enforcers the command to free Mayumi. "I told you Moonlight was exactly who she said she was," he said, helping Mayumi up.

Stepping around the front line of council members, the ones that had sided with Mayumi moved over so that they stood at Moonlight's side.

"She was the only one present when Frost passed. Be it poison or magic, she could have caused the balance of chemicals to change without a trace," one of the opposers said, stepping forward. The only evidence we got was blood work and word from the people who saw the aftermath. There was no evidence presented that proved Mayumi inocent."

"Don't bother trying to sort them out, they all have families. At one point or another, they've all come in to my shop for medicine and treatment. Some I could not help and were lost, others made full recoveries," Mayumi said, standing up, I honestly thought they knew me better than this. Now I know they're no better than the humans I ran from sso long ago."

"The effects depend on the exicution. Under the right conditions, they would be unaffected and they would find new ways to sustain themselves. Under other conditions, it might devestate the family or even break it apart. Some would end up in between, devestated, buthanging onto what they have as best they can while they look for a new source of income," Mayumi said, "I can tell you what conditions are needed for whatever effect you want."

Taking a pen and a piece of paper, Mayumi wrote down the conditiond need for each opposer, each requiring different conditions. "Here, thes are the conditions for each one to experience the desired effct," she said, anding the list to Moonlight, "I personally will reserve the right to refuse them service from my shop."

"Great. This will do just fine for their punishments. But I want you all to know why I am punishing you. It is not Mayumi's fault, nor Goldenscale's, nor mine. It was your poor decisions that brought this upon yourselves." Moonlight said as she began to read off the list.

As Moonlight read off the list, the council membersremained, started filling out the paperwork needed"This will only make our current task harder, but at least we'll have these 'bad examples' out of our  system," one of the members said, returning to Moonlight's side, "Kasra will be pleased to know that the most negative of the council members have been purged from the group."

"Yes, and without me having to give Goldenscale the signal. You won't hold it against her, her having a form like this, will you? To tell the truth, I didn't think she would be able to keep control of this form." Moonlight said. Goldenscake had remained standing next to Moonlight.
