"Alright.  For now I shall abide by your rules." she said as she left.  Goldenscale stood in disbelief.  Moonlight, among us?  Now this was interesting.  "I have nothing more to say." she said quietly.

"Then take this slip of paper and exit the building.This slip means you have testified in this trial, and thus ineligible to do so again without being brought in by council request," he said, holding out a slip of paper for Goldenscale.

"Alright." she said quietly exiting.

Moonlight then entered.  "Alright what other rules do I have to abide by." she said as she sat down in the middle.

"First, your name and position in society, if you have one. Once we have that, you have twenty minutes to present or tell any evidence pertaining to this trial," he said taking out a form, ready to take down details, "Magic is forbiden in this room at all times. Mo exceptions can be made to this rule, regardless of position."

"You'll have to forgive us for not believing your claims to being the spirit of the Earth. That is a very unlikely claim, but can be true. What proof do you have to back your claims," he asked, writing down Moonlight's name and nothing else, "If you are who and what you say you are, we apologize for the inconvenience, but a claim like that needs valid proof."

"Seeing as you don't look any older than Mayumi, pretty good, but knowledge of history proves nothing other than just that. We'll give you one more chance, but do mind we are in the middle of a trial here. You are taking up time we could be using to bring this trial to a close," he said.

"That is why I am here. Mayumi is innocent, she has done nothing to earn this. All she had done was love another and marry him. I do not tell lies. Frost died from sudden death syndrome, not from some hidden poison or wound." she said. "That is all I can saw for this."

"Look, it doesn't matter who you are, if you can''t provide any proof to back your claims, we can't just take your claims as truth. Taket his slip, your time is up," he said hold out another slip of paper, "We've heard enough evidence now. The council building is no closed to the public and witnesses until further notice."

"Thank you for your time." she said as she left, leaving a patch of flowers on the ground where she sat. "It seems there is no more folk lore on us spirits anymore." Moonlight said unhappily. "I know, but what can we do." Goldenscsle said quietly. Moonlight kneeled down and hugged her. "I don't want to loose her, Moonlight..." she said quietly. "I know. I will keep it from happening if they try. If they won't believe words, they will believe actions." Moonlight said.

"They stopped telling folktales long ago when council was formed. People lost faith in the tales and thus redirected it to the government," Ahnah said, reading the small runes that were etching themselves into the dirt at her feet, "There are few who remember the old folklore, and even fewer who still retell the tails."

"Well, they'll believe soon enough once I show myself." she said.  "And I will make sure Mayumi does not get taken from you, my little one." she added.

"I offer the assistance of my ancestors if they are needed," she said, looking up to Moonlight, "right now, they're telling me what all they're saying in there. Magic may not be allowed in there, but nothing says a spirit can't hide in a wall and listen."

"What are they saying?  Their magic is preventing me from seeing anything in that room." Moonlight said, looking over to Ahnah.
