Ariving at the council building, Mayumi was grabbed by two enforcers who dragged her inside, "Alright, suspect has been detained and brought in for trial. If you wish to stand as witness to or against her suspected crime, step inside now. There will only be one witness in the trial room at one time," a third eforcer said, standing at the building's door.

Nodding, Larai walked in. After a few minutes, he walked back out holding slip of paper. Not waiting for instructions, Clair, Tieral and Ahnah fallowed  the same actions, go in, tell  their side, and walk bac out with a piece of paper.

"Alright Ricken, your turn," Ahnah said, patting him on the back, "Be warned, they're a little irritated having their claim flipped on them as badly as it is."

"Next witness, Ricken. Enfoercer of Goldenscale Goldragon and former suspect of this trial.Please take your stand at the center of the room and tell us what evidence you have and your side of the issue at hand," A council member said, his tone flat and monotonous, "You have twenty minutes as per regulation standards."

"You make a valid point, but families have selfdestructed so early in the past. Mind you that just because Frost fathered her current clutch doesn't mean he didn't force himself on her to make it. Emotions can be easily disguised from both view and sense," he said, writing down Ricken's testimony, "Your evidence is still valid however. Many people can report Mayumi's and Frost's feelings for each other by their interactions in public. You still have ten minutes if you wish to say more."

"I believe I have made my point." Ricken said.

"Then come take this slip of paper. It signifies you have already placed input in this trial and ineligible to do so again without being called upon by the council," he said, writting out something on a slip of paper and holding it out for Ricken,"Please take the east exit, opposite of the door you came in through."

"Thank you for your consideration." he said before he left.  

When Goldenscale saw him leave, she then walked into the council building.

"Next witness, Goldenscale Goldragon, also know as the harbringer of change among the public.  Current council member charged with listening to the public. Please take your stand in the center of the room and present to us what evidence you have and your side of the issue at hand," he said, as Goldenscale entered the room.

"I stand against your change and my evidence is I have experience and knowledge.  I am the protector of the cave and the surrounding forest, so I am naturally the one to find out if anyone wants to harm another.  I woke to not that, but something wrong.  I found out Frost had died peacefully in the night.  I also took a blood sample from him and still discovered nothing unusual about his death." she said sadly.

"Mayumi has already provided us the blood work and a active blood sample so we know that part is true. We know not what abilities you possess, but we do know Frost and Mayumi are registerd as your parents. You have reason to protect Mayumi, whether or not she did the deed. Normaly, we disallow family from testifying with or against their own family, but you are one of only a few witnesses," he said, writting down a few notes, "Do you have anything else you wish to say? you still have fifteen minutes."

"I would have notified her had someone or something tries to kill him otherwise." Moonlight saidmas she walked in, her silver-blue glow shining around her as usual.  But this time a frown played on her gentle features.

"I'm sorry Ma'am, but you will have to wait your turn, regardless of who you are and what power you possess. We can't make exceptions to any rules during unless it's a case like Goldenscale's  current situation," he said, "Please step back outside until Goldenscale leaves the building."
