After Goldenscale had killed Shade, she began to lick the blood from her fingers.  "Who knew tour death would be so sweet." she hissed to the dead body.  She then left for the barrier.

Ricken began to run as fast as he can, soon running on his hind legs as as he put his fingers on the symbol and looked at Goldenscale.  Within seconds, a blast had engulfed Goldenscale, leaving her on the ground, her body going into stasis.

Walking over to Shad's body, Mayumi set a single, small white flame against her head. Within seconds, Shade's body was engulfed and reduced to nothing but ash. "No amount of magic or necromancy can bring you back now fiend," she said quietly as she walked away towards Ricken.

"Ricken, do you know if introducing enough light energy will help revert her back," Tieral asked, catching up with him, "If it can, this crystal may be our best bet."

"I don't know, but I'm having some troubles keeping her soul under control.  Try if you want, but I don't know what to expect." he said, closing his eyes so he could concentrate more.

Nodding, TIeral walked over to Goldenscale, holding the crystal out as he took on his light form and draining all the energy in the crystal. Wrapping his, now web like, wing around her, he slowly forced the energy out of his body and into the air surounding GOldenscale. After a few minutes, he had reverted back to normal as the air inside his wings glowed with the energy.

"Here, let me hold her there. You help Tieral," Mayumi said, placing her claws on the rune and holding the bottom edge of the book, "If hhis idea doesn't work, the energy can be used to lock her in stasis until she reverts back."

Nodding to Mayumi, he went over and placed a hand on Goldenscale and made her bodyu accept the energy.  A couple minutes later Goldenscale had reverted back and her small body was lying on the ground eyes closed as her body processed the rest of the foreign magic.

"Clair's telling the council about Frost as we speak. When she gets back, I want you to get her back to your home. She doesn't need to be getting as active as she has today," Mayumi said, walking over to Ricken and handing him his book, "Goldenscale has shown me that she needs me as much as I need her for support. I will not leave her, no matter the risk or danger."

(Sorry.  When I tried to post earlier, the Beastkeeper sign popped up to tell me it was down for check up, so I immediately thought it didn't post, but I guess it did.)

"But Mayumi, you have eggs you need to tend to.  And Goldenscale's work is dangerous.  The one thing we can do to help her though is to prevent her from losing her sanity.  It might take her a while to recover from this, but I hope your all aren't frightened by what she can become." Ricken said as he picked up Goldenscale.  "Whatever you did to her, it's helping her to become normal again." he said.

"To erase a shadow, you shine a light. To neutralize dark energy, you introduce light energy," Tieral said, looking into the now clear crystal, "My idea was to introduce enough light energy to counter the dark energy Shade hit her with."

"I've seen much worse than what she changed into. I am one of few who have seen Lyric'ai Dreamscar's true form. He is a boralion dragon, the exact oposite of a flarion dragon. Where flarions are alined wiith vitae and the sould, boralions are alined with mirajin and the mind. Their very bones are made of the mutagenic crystal that is made of dreams," Mayumi said, helping Tieral up and fallowing Ricken, "I may have eggs to take care of, but that doesn't mean i will leave Goldenscale. I still see her as my daughter, and I will be there for her."

"Then should I keep her at her house, or at yours, Mayumi?" Ricken asked.

"Take her to my house, I'll be moving my eggs there soon," she said, "I will meet you there."

"Understood." Ricken said as he began to carry her back to her original home.

Getting Ahnah's and Tieral's help, Mayumi lifted the nest and within a couple minutes, they had transfered it over to her old home. "I'll get someone to get the rest of my things later," she said, laying down over the nest, "I just need to rest for now."

Ricken had laid Goldenscale in front of a wall, letting her rest.  "Mayumi, if you want I can retrieve the rest of your belongings." he offered.
