"Today's the last day for preparations. We'd best find where we'll set up the booth and place a marker so no one else grabbs it," she said, thinking over th idea then nodding, "We could all use some time to relax and have fun."

"I've still got my booth set up." He says with a smile.

"That's good, we don't have to worry then. We might check out some of the booths that have opened early," she said smiling before turning to Goldenscale, "I understand how the forest always got so green over night now. You are the force that bring life to the first day of spring."

"Yes.  I gave up my fighting skills and powers and exchanged them for the power of growth just for the first of Spring.  My body and eyes also changed their color to resemble that of the moon, which to the forest is the giver of life.  But I always have to worry about getting hurt or taken on this day instead of being carefree and strong..." she said with a smile.  "Most  of the tallest trees and largest flower bushes were grown by me on the first of spring.  Even annuals, which need to be replanted each year come back the next.  Even the willow in my home was grown by me and towers over the tree in the cave." she said with a chuckle.

"So many of the ingredients I use are plants I get from the forest. The first day of spring was always a day for me to enjoy the forest and find the ingredients," she said, "I wont be doing any ingredient searches  today or in the near future though. I have something more important to keep an eye on than my reagent stock."

"Thank you, I'll be sure to check there every now and then  for them. Nothing makes a better potion than fresh ingredients," she said, fallowing as Frost lead them towards the festival booths, "Fresh is always better when it comes to that."

"Yes..." she said quietly.  'This is going to be interesting...' she thought.

""I'll be sure to make up a few for your journey. They might not be as much of a life saver for you, but they might take away pain and illnesses," she said, "For now, we can just relax and have fun. You've got the council's booth to attend to, and I'll have a nest to take care of after today."

Goldenscale sighed, her ears beginning to twitch like there was an invisible fly bothering her.  'Not more auras...' she thought miserably.  "I should probably see if anything is going on with them..." she said with a frown.

"More, where," she asked, looking towards Goldenscale. "Why do they always come around during times like this. It always seems so timed," she said, steeping away from Frost's wings into the light, her scales and feathers taking on a slick sheen.

"It's nothing." she said with a smile.  "But I should go see what the council is doing and see where the booth is.  It will be a bummer that I'm a part of the council and I don't know where the booth is." she said with an embarrassed laugh.  I'll be back soon." she said, running towards the council building.  All of the auras she was feeling was starting to give her a headache, but she could deal with it until that night.

"Ah, there you are Goldenscale. We've been looking for you," one of the council members said when he saw her, "We were just discussing who had what part of the day for their shift at the booth."

"Alright.  What shift do I have?" she asked, sitting down.

"So far, we have you on the afternoon shift for the thrid day of the feistival. We still have to inform the new head of council so he can take his shift at the start of the festival tomarow morning," he said, sliding a tablet with marking for the day and shifts. Beside each marking were two small gems the same color as each council member's gem. In the first slot was an ice blue piece of quatze to signify the new council head, "Do you have any objections to your shift?"
