After an hour of slipping between buildings, Tieral stopped at an old victorian looking home. "This is it. he really liked the victorian art style," he said walking up to the door and waiting for Goldenscale.

Goldenscale looked at the house for a second, admiring the beauty before following Tieral.

"You know, we could have tried searching for his aura," he said with a laugh as he knocked on the door, "I can sense him in there."

"I didn't think of that..." she said as she stood up as straight as she could.

When he opened the door, he stood still, fear and confusion in his eyes. "What more do you want from an old dragon like me," he asked, "You've already take the last thing I had."

"I don't want to take anything from you.  Actually, I was wondering if you could teach me a bit about the history of the council.  I'm still new here and I don't know much." she said shyly.

"Why should I teach you when you casued me loose my last reason to care for life," he asked, the signs of neglect starting to show on his face, "I just want to go in peace now.I have nothingleft to live for."

"Everything is built based on the past.  The council is just a more modern form of the past council, the buildings have been modified from the older houses, decisions are based on past mistakes and experience.  Knowledge also helps to make decisions, and if I knew a bit more, maybe it could help me to understand what I'm getting into instead of just swinging blindly at the branch." she said, looking at him.

"I see I'm not going to get you to leave me alone without a leason, so come on in," he said backing away from the door to show the large interior mostly covered in dust from the past two days, "If I teach you, do you promise to leave this old dragon to die?"

(Got to go to bed now.)

"I don't like it when others die, it makes me very salad..." she said looking down.  She still walked in, but didn't like what he said.

"What use is living if you have nothing to live for? Being council head was my last line, and now I have nothing. I just want to leave this world without making a big scene," he said closing the door behind Tieral,  "Now, do you promise or not?"

"Yes..." she said quietly.

"Good, we have an agreement then," he said, sitting near a fireplace, "Where do you want to begin? The council history it brief historically, but large in its dealings."

"I don't know whereto start..." sh said quietly.  "I know next to nothing about it though." she said.

"Let's start with seeing what you know," he said taking a stone statue from the fireplace mantle and brushing a claw over the faces of the three young dragons at the base, "Since you first got here, what have you learned about the council. It does not matter how little, it will give me an idea where to start."
