Goldenscale looked down and noticed the wisp-like object.  She gently set down the chest and went over to it.

Upon closer inspection, one could see a faint outline of a dragon similar to Mayumi except for key features being mangled and the wings broken like they had been crushed by stone. Seeing Goldenscale, it moved towards her,staring at the vitae crystal she had around her neck.

Goldenscale shrank back, her small paws crunching in the snow.  She put her wings around the crystals and continued to shrink back.  "What's your business here?" she said.

"Where's my little girl? I just want to see her one lasttime," it said, its voice almost forced and pained by the way it sounded, "That crystal, it holds her essence."

"Who's your little girl?" she asked.

"I can't remeber anymore. All I remember is that we are not from this world, and that her mother was a red flarion," it said, changing to a slightly darker color as it spoke, "I miss both of them so much."

"We're their names Mayumi and Mi'Vier by any chance?" she asked.  

"Yes, my mate's name was Mi'Vier, and our daighter was Mayumi," he said, looking hopeful, "Do you know where they are? If you do, please tell me."

(I'm an idiot...)

"Mayumi is my mom.  Come, follow!" she said running of.

"And what of Mi'Vier," he asked, fallowing alongside Goldenscale and leaving a melted trail in the snow, "Is she there as well?"

"I don't know if she is or not.  But I can see if Mayumi knows where she is.  And I believe she's a spirit too if I can recall correctly." she said as she reached the chest.  She picked it up again and walked back to her home.  "Mayumi, you still here?" she asked.

"Yes, I'm still here. Tieral asked me and Frost to watch over Alekai," she said looking up from the sleeping varanius, "Why?"

"Someone wants to see you and Mi'Vier." she said, setting the trunk down.  She then went over to Alekai and cradled him.  She then went back to the opening.  "You can come in." she said.

Stepping out of the sunlight into the cave, the faint outline around the wisp became more solid and defined. "Mayumi, is that really you," he asked walking over to Mayumi and hugging her, "I thought I would never see you again."

Mayumi silent as the spirit embraced her. "Yes father, it's me," she said, slowly bringing her wing up to return the hug the started speaking to the spirit in a strange language.

Goldenscale chuckled.  "And I thought I was odd because I spoke odd languages..." she said as she went rummaging in the chest for what she needed.
