"My job is to prevent harm from ever coming to you," he said, his voice starting to fade a little, "I failed to defend you, and for that I'm sorry. I need to become stronger to prevent this from ever happening again."

'No, it's not your fault.  It was my fault for being careless.' she replied in a stern tone.  She then opened her eyes and crawled out from under the blanket, proceeding to stand at least.  "One, two, three, four..." she whispered to herself as she steadily rose herself off of the ground.  Once she had done that, she raised her head high in triumph.  "I will not let a spot of poison get to me.  I'm stronger than that." she said.

"Rest yourself Goldenscale, if you get too active, the poison will get to you again," Mayumi said, walking over to her, "You may be strong, but strength will do nothing to stop the poison from doing more."

"Please listen to Mayumi. The more active you are, the faster the poison spread in you, even if you took the antidote," Tieral said as he looked up from where he was, "I don;t want to see you in any more pain than you've already been in."

She smiled.  "But I am not any normal dragon.  I know I use that a lot,  but I speak the truth.  I will not rest, I will burn the poison from me eventually." she said, walking g towards the entrance.  She gave off a metallic roar, coughing after, and an obstacle course soon appeared.  "Poison will not stop me from protecting everyone.  They rely on me, and as long as I can feel it in their auras, I will not back down nor stop for anything." she said, bursting I to a run.  Her muscles burned as the poison coursed through her veins, but she ran even faster.  She had the antidote inside her bloodstream now, so this would also help it to heal her.  "I will not be subject to any weakness!" she roared with a smile as her weariness slowly disappeared.  The trees began to rustle in excitement at seeing her running through them at her incredible speeds.

For a brief moment, Mayumi looked furious, but quickly calmed down as she listened to the hum of the forest, tracking Goldenscale's movements.

"I wish there was a way I could be with for this," Tieral said, just before his voice cut out.

Soon enough she felt like normal.  She was doing her tricks while she ran.  Finally, she ran as fast as she could and launched herself in the air, beating the air furiously as she gained height.  She then dove back to the cave, using the speed to spiral up for a bit, then opened her wings and landed.  She then lranced around the cave.  "I'm back, mom.  Sorry I ran off like that, but I don't like sitting and doing nothing." she said.

"Can you at least give me a warning before you do that should this ever happen again," she asked as she tened to Tieral's wounds while he was unconscious, "I have a feeling Tieral here, is going to beat himself up mentally over this incedent."

Frost fixes up supper and other things for that night.

"Uhm... who are you," a shaky voice asked, comming from behind the wood pillar Mayumi was working on earlier.

Frost looks over to it. "Whose there?"

Clinging to the pillar Alekai brought himself into view, appearing to be a hatchling without wings. "I'm Alekai," he said, watching Frost , "Where's Mom?"

"I'm Frost. And who is your mom little one?" He asks stirring some batter.

"Goldenscale is my mom," he said nervously, begining to climb down.

"Oh is that......" Frost falls onto his back stunned not knowing how to react.

Cautiously, Alekai made his way over to Frost, hding his chest, causing the ground below him to light up with a gold light. "Did I do something wrong," he asked, laying down so that he made himself as small as possible.
