Goldenscale ran over to him, picking him up in her arms and cradling him.  "I'm right here, my little one..." she cooedw.  The effects of the poison were now rest king, but it wasn't as strong now.  She then went over to a wall and sat at it's base, still cradling the varanius in her arms.

He let out a surprised chirp as he was lifted, but began to pur when he realized who had him. "Mom," he said as he pressed against Goldenscale.

She continue to sit there, cradling Alekai.  "I can see you met my father." she said quietly.

"That's your dad," he asked, turning his head to look at Frost, "I think I surprised him a little."

"I do believe that you did." she said with a chuckle.

Climbing out of GOldenscale's grasp, Alekai made his way over to Frost and sat purring in front of him, no longer hiding his chest and showing the crystal core.

Goldenscale sat, watching the two.

Frost slowly snapped out of it. "How............... How are you a  mother? Your not even old enough to mate. i mean this is impossible." He sits up slowly.

She put her hand to her forehead.  "I knew this was going to happen.  I created him from gears.  He is powered by a crystal I created." she replied.

"That right," he said, happily sitting tall, "The crystal gives me both mind and spirit."

Frost sits there confused by what is being said, "Wait wait. ok you made him. That's the reason he calls you mom? But he isn't well ummm......." He tries to think of a way not to upset both of them.

"The crystal is my soul and mind. This body is but a machine under its controle,"he said, tapping on the glass panel on his chest as the crystal pulsed.

"Exactly, but in my eyes he will always be my child." she said with a smile.

"Can you eat?" Frost asks out of curiosity. Looking at the little dragon.

"NO,I can't. So long as this crystal remains inside my chest, I'll keep running," he said, tilting his head, "Why?"
