Inside, the council was going over expanding the fishery, the head of council's spot empty.

Goldenscale walked in the room and leaned on a wall, listening to what was being discussed.

"Alright, it's decided. The fishery will recive the materials it needs to expand the veriety of fish grown, and expand on the holding areas," one of the council members said passing a form around for all of them to mark then handing it to the firshery instructor who then left. "Good of you to join us Goldenscale. Do you have an issue to bring to our attention, or were you just waiting to join in on the next issue," he asked when he noticed Goldenscale, "Either way, why don't you come and take your place?"

Goldenscale went to sit in her place

"Right, our next issue is presented by Metraz. He wished to get more daily resources. Before, we bring him in, would you know any reason for him to ask for such," he asked passing a copy of the issue sheet to everyone, "If any of would know, it would be you Goldenscale since he's one of you personal enforcers."

"Families grow in time." is all she said, smiling.

"I'm glad we don't have to think too much on our decision for this one then. We may not have a new head of council yet, but we're making progress in fixing the damage done by the last one," he said stamping his copy of the form marking it as aproved while the other members did the same before he gave a signal to an enforcer to open the door for Metraz to enter, "You are aproved for you request. You can start picking up your extra resources tomarow morning."

Metraz just stood stunned, surprised how they decision was made before he could say a word.

Goldenscale stifled a laugh.

Taking the signed issue form, Metraz left the room.

"Without someone forcing us to think over our decision, we've been getting a lot of similar reactions," the council member said once the doors were closed, "Since we've dealt with all the other issues of the day, we're done for the morning. The public will be informed of the old head of council being relieved of his position. We've decided to have the public vote in the next head of council. Their votes will be tallied during this afternoon's meeting."

"Alright.  I'll see if I can be here later.  My health might take a turn later, so no promises, but I'll try to be there." she said with a smile.  She walked out of the building and ran back to Mayumi and Frost.

"So, how were things with the council," Mayumi asked when Goldenscale got back.

"Wonderful." she said with a smile.  "Everything is going a lot faster."

"Have they found a new head of council, or are they working on fixing the old one's mistakes," she asked with a smile, "Whoever comes to take his place will have a lot of work to do to catch up."

"They're working on fixing some right now and letting the public decide who become the new council leader." she said with a smile.

"That's good to hear. I still wonder what it was that caused them to vote out the old head of council, Frost never answered my question on that," she said, "It just seems kind of wiered that they would suddenly start listnening to the public to get rid of him."
