Frost goes and starts setting up a booth for the festival. He has the base of the stand made.

"The council leader hid the papers that had the requests for him to step down.  They just found them a couple days ago." she said.

"That explains a lot. Other than to hold his position, I wonder why he hid the the papers. He wasn't one to mess with how the council comunicated with the public," she said looking over to see Frost setting up a booth, "I think Frost is a little excited over the Spring Havest Festival. It's not going to be here for another week, and he already has a booth ready."

Frost works on getting the supports in.

"What's a booth?" she asked.  She felt stupid for asking, but she truly didn't know.

"A booth is a temporary set up ment to display something or, in the case of many festivals, provide some sort of entertainment. You see a lot of them during the Harvest festivals," she said starting up a small fire to curl around, "Has the council started giving assignments for the festival yet? Usually they would have started preperations by now."

"I'm supposed to go around and ask people what they expect, but that hasn't happened yet..." she said quietly.

"I'm sure they'll understand you not getting around to that. With all that's been happening, I'm surprised any of us could get anything done," she said starting to shiver, "Sometimes the world just gets in the way of plans."

"Are you cold, mom?" she asked noticing her shivering.

"Yes, but I'll be fine. When you drain your spirit as much as I did, you body tries to go dormant till it recovers," she said, struggling to stay awake, "It starts off as a chill, and slowly progresses to a full blown coma. I figure, I have about two hours till then."

"No!  Follow!" she said running out of the cave and sitting outside impatiently.  She knew of one way to keep that from happening, and she was determined to do that.

"I'll be fine Goldenscale, I just need to rest until my spirit is back how it was. So long as I have someone looking over me, I'll be safe," she said slowly fallowing Goldenscale, "The long I hold off on resting, the long it will be before I fully recover."

"But the flower-" she said.

Frost goes home and prepares a bed for Mayumi and makes a vase of frozen flowers. "I hope this will be good when she gets home."

"The flower is connected to you. i don't want to risk it stritching itself too thin to help me. Besides, I've been through this two times before," she said stopping beside Goldenscale, "It's like going into a deep sleep. you'll just have to trust that I'll be fine. Now, I can still make it back home at my current pace if i start my way back now."
