"But she was the daughter of a Flarion.  I'm a creature that has fire, but had absolutely no idea what a vital fire was or how to use it."  She used the general term for herself, not really wanting to call herself a dragon even though she looked like one.  She thought of herself as too odd to be a dragon.  Then she laughed.  "I've never been truly sane, so when I yell at trees for miniscule problems, that's a part of it.

"Sanity is relative to ho you speak to. Your anger probably comes from not knowign why things are as they are, and don't call yourself a creature. Dragons are known to wield magic far beyond that of humans, and sometimes that magic is passed to their young," she said placing her glass of tea on the ground, "Kelan and Valdren care not for what you are when the fire is passed. They never came to Chiei, despite her being able to control the fire. It worries me that they might not be the only ones to sense your fire."

Goldenscale looked down at the ground.  "You're right, I don't understand why things are the way they are, nor why I'm here.  I've never thought for myself and now that I am, all I can think about is why am I here, what am I supposed to do, what exactly am I, and why can't I explain myself."  She got up,wanting to think of something other than trying to explain herself.  "I'm going to go dunk my head under water and see how long it takes for my thoughts to freeze and leave." she thought and went to the nearest pond.  She then stuck her head underneath it and lay by the pool of water, waiting.

"Don't hurt yourself Goldenscale. You could very well be what my people called a child of nature. Someone without origin, and only a connection to nature," she said once she reached Goldenscale at the pond.

Goldenscale took her head from the water.  "I'm sorry I'vebeen acting odd lately.  I've been thinking why too much.  As I've said before, I don't think much for myself, just for the well being of others.  But if I am a child of nature as you said, then how was I created?  Was I created from the forest's magic?  But if I was, I'm not really a being."  She sighed.  "I need to do something else to get myself back to normal." she said standing up.  "I wonder what game Frost has in mind."

"Sometimes, when a soul has lost its way, nature will take in the sould and give it life. Much like the starting of any species, the soul is given a body. One created not from magic, but by the forced many call god. making a new species.This is how the Anshe believe life came to be, and how a new species are made. Ever species had to start somewhere, you could be the start of one," she said, "Whatever he has planned, it aught to get our minds off what's happened in the past day."

"You could be right."  She went over to Mayumi and hugged her.  "Thanks for still believing in me even when I stopped believing in myself."

"None are more lost than the person who has stopped believing in themself. As your mother, it's my job to believe in you, even if everything is lost," she said returning the hug, "Let's get back to Frost, we kind of just left him standing there."

"Yeah..." she said quietly.  "Hey mom, can I go see if the council has figured out who the new council leader is real fast?" she asked.

"You don't have to ask for stuff dealing with the council since you're part of it. all you need to do is tell me where you're going so that I don't worry," she said nuzzling Goldenscale, "I'll meet you back with Frost."

Goldenscale nezzled her back.  "I'll be back before you know it." she said before running at her top speed back to the cave.  Once there, she slid a this if the cave to the council building.  She dusted herself off and went inside.  "Anyone here?"

"They're already starting in on the day's issues. They assumed you were still recovering," Metraz said looking a little nervouse, "I'm sure they wont mind you slipping in once the current issues is dealt with."

"I am, but I feel healthy at the moment, and I'm sure my health will down fall later.  Why are you so nervous?" she asked him.  

"Since my family will have more mouths to feed once the eggs hatch, I'm going in to ask for an increase in daily resources," he said trying to calm himself, "Knowing how the council head likes to hang onto the old ways, i might not get the resouces we need."

"Don't worry, I'll see what I can do." she said before looking into the meeting room.
