"You were chosen when Mayumi pass to you the knowledge of how to use the vital fire. It seems she passed it on to the right person judging by your soul," Kelan said as his aura began to gather into on spot just in front of Goldenscale along side Valdren's, "Should you ever need to speak to us again, just call on the vita fair, and we will come." Slowly, the images of Valdren and Kelan began to fade from Goldenscale's mind, leaving without a trace.

Goldenscale opened her eyes and stared at the wall.  "What in the name of the moon..." she said quietly as she tried to u derstand what just happened.

"You alright Goldenscale," Tieral asked, "I've been trying to talk to you for the past half hour. You looked like you were awake, but you wouldn't answer."

Goldenscale got up.  "I might just be going insane, just repeat what you were trying to say please." she said, looking up at him before taking her blindfold off.  Her head was spinning, but only a small amount and her body surprisingly felt much better.

Frost gets home and looks around.

"I was trying to see if you were alright is all," he said before tunring to Frost, "Good morning Frost, sorry that I came in here without permision, but I was only checking on Goldenscale."

Goldenscale got up,mher lips tight.  "I'll be right back." she said, walking out of the save on her back legs like a human would with ease.  She soon ended up at the willow tree in the forest.  'I'm going insane... Imaginary people and dragons came to me.' she said.  *No, they were real, they just couldn't be here in person.* the willow explained.  Goldenscale paced around.  *You should get back soon.  Your health will soon go back.  It is short lived.* she warned.  'But how can I possibly believe this.  This is impossible.  For years I've done this, but now a Firestarter?  The vital fire thing I've done since I found the flower!  That's how I keep it in good health!' she thought with some anger.  *But they don't know that.* the willow replied.  Goldenscale sighed and sat down thinking.

"The willow is right. They don't exist on this planet. They are Kelan Flarion, Chapter of Souls, and Valdren Flarion, the first flarion dragon in existence. They are the founders of the Firestarters, and the soul reason Nefirian Dreamscar hasn't been able to completely fuse Valenth and the reverie," Mayumi said walking out from the surounding forest, her scales and feathers heavily faded, "When I senced their presence, i tried to get to you before they left. What did they have to say to you?"

"What happened to your scales and feathers!" she asked.  She wasn't purposefully skirting the question, but she wanted to know what happened to Mayumi and didn't really want to relay the confusing yet calming experience.

"I'm still recovering from yesterday. The color wil return to me as I regain my spiritual energy," she said sitting down by the willow, "It will be a few weeks before I'm fully recoverd. No matter how confusing it is, please tell me what they said."

Goldenscale whined in protest.  "Aw, but mom..." she said with a whine.  She then looked at the ground when she thought about what she said.

"Please, I must know so I can tell whether or not they ment herm. Even if they seem kind and gental, the wrong action on your part could bring a painful end to your life," she said starting to plead, "Why did they come to you?"

She sighed, closing her eyes and raising her head to the sky.  "They told me that I became the first Firestarter when you showed me how to use the vital fire.  They said that a Firestarter protected nature and those who can't protect themselves, whether it be fighting the undead or protecting wildlife.  Since the Vita Fiar has become accustom to me, it would only singe me.  Theory also told me that if I needed them again, to call with my vita fiar." she said opening her eyes.  "Whatever that means."  Her head began to swim again.  She mumbled angrily at her sorry state.

"They truely believe in your abilities then," she said walking up to Goldenscale, "To call on one's vita fair is to call on Kelan himself, a direct call to the gods. Only those who can controle the fire can call on him as it is his only tangible link to our plain of existence."

"But why me?  There are millions of others out there, and a ton more that understand themselves.  I can't understand anything about myself, yet here I am a Firestarter."  She mumbled something in a different language entirely and started to walk around the tree aimlessly.  'I absolutely have no faith in myself anymore' was what she said, and only the trees understood.  They seemed to sigh.
