Goldenscale smiled and fell asleep.

In the morning there's a smell of something that was different but sweet that filled her nostrils.

Goldenscale made a soft yet high pitched growl as she woke up.  She yawned and got out of bed, stretching.  She then follows the scent of the food.

Frost is cooking breakfast and the scent is coming from some round discs that he's flipping up into the air.

Goldenscale limped over to Frost and once again made the high pitch growl, curious as to what this round object of food was.

"Morning," Frost says flipping one, "these are called pancakes. humans made them. i added some fruit to these though. would you like one."

Goldenscale perked her ears at hearing him say fruits, her left ear making a ringing sound as her earrings made contact with each other.  'Fruits on a pancake, sounds delicious' she thought.  She nodded her head.  'Thank you.' she tried to tell him telepathically.  Hopefully she wouldn't have to continue with this telepathic talking.

"ok first lesson try and say thank you." he serves her a stack. "after we eat we'll go see Mayumi

Goldenscale tried to pronounce the words slowly, but it took a couple of tries.  "Thank you." she finally managed.  She bounced around the room in happiness at hearing herself talk for the first time.  She sounded somewhat childish, but at least now she had a voice.

"That's good now try telling me your name." he takes a bite of his pancakes.

"Goldenscale." she said proudly.  At least she can tell people her name.  She smiled brightly again at hearing herself speak.  She took a bite of the pancake and decided it was very delicious.  "This is yummy." she said.

"That's good so goldenscale can you tell me anything about yourself?" Frost asks looking at the little dragon.

"What would you like to know?" she asked him.  She was fine with answering any questions he had.  She just didn't know where to start.

"where did you come from to start and how you found your way here?" he gives another stack to her.

"I don't know where I came from.  I just hatched in a forest one day without a clue of where my parents went.  Though I didn't see any dragons, I knew there  had to be more out there somewhere, so I went searching everywhere without luck until yesterday." she said with a shrug.
