She looked up at him with a smile and nodded.  'Maybe I could use this book to help me learn to speak.  I can't keep on going like this.' she thought to herself.

"I'd best get going before they send someone to look for me," Mayumi said standing up and heading for the caver exit.

Goldenscale ran up to Mayumi before she left to ask her something.  She pointed her nose to her leg to ask her if she could take am look at it.  

Frost watches from his seat.

"Your leg healed wrong didn't it," Mayumi asked seeing Goldenscale's leg, "I don't have anything that can fix it. The only way I know to fix such injuries is to brake the bone again and reset it so that it wil heal correctly."

Frost comes over and puts his paw on goldenscale's shoulder. "i'll be here to help you ok and while it heals we can get you started on how to speak ok?"

"Have Frost bring you to m y shop tomarow about noon. I'll be doing checkup then, and i'll have the time to properly perform the procedure," Mayumi said nodding to Frost, "That, and all my supplies are at the shop. It'd be safer to do it there incase there are unforseen complications."

"we'll be there," Frost says smiling and looking at goldenscale. before gathering his reading materials for being inside the main cave for the winter.

(I have soooo much muse at the moment... but where'd it come from?) Goldenscale smiled and nodded again. She would be ready for tomorrow. Though she would most likely be experiencing the blinding pain again, there was that chance of having her leg heal correctly. Then she could have so many more freedoms than she had now: running, hunting, climbing, maybe even fighting. But first her leg had to heal. Frost was also going to teach her how to talk. She wasn't going to live as a shadow anymore. She was going to have a voice finally. She smiled even wider at the thoughts going through her mind. She followed Frost into the main cave, though she didn't want to leave the warmth.

Leaving the cave, Mayumi made her way back to her home as night began to set in over the mountain.

Goldenscale yawned as she followed Frost through the main cave. She then looked out the cave entrance. 'Wow, time really flies' she thought while yawning again.

"here we are and i have a spare bed just in case of an emergency," Frost says taking Goldenscale to it. "Also i've been meaning to tell you. Don't show you can change your form. Or the council will use you like they do me. alright?" Frost gets the bed ready.

She playfully bit her tongue.  'Maybe I could try to tell him' she thought.  She focused all of her energy.  'I'll do it in secret then' she told him.  It was difficult to telepathically speak she thought because she wasn't used to it.  The only thing she was used to doing with magic was healing, basic fighting, and shape shifting.  Even when fighting with her magic all she could do was make a couple vines wrap around her opponent or bring up small walls of rock to block attacks.  She yawned again in exhaustion.  Though she didn't know what the object Frost got ready for use was, she made an assumption that it was a bed and she crawled on top of it.  

He grins. "Well well your a talented one. ok but you can do it once we are able to return to the cavern ok? good night all right and we'll start tomorrow with talking." he heads to his after putting the books down. he falls asleep on the bed.
