LadyoftheForest, this one is definitely better! It still has some pixelization and transparency issues on the outline but they are minor and I'll approve it if you submit it as it is.

daisy2944, sorry, this is the case similar to the skin posted by NyanGirl1313 a few posts earlier. Yours is a bit less pixelated but all other problems are exactly the same.

hollahollaget_$, I would prefer to see an original design. Using the same idea is fine but not copying it up to the same design elements.

Would a Unicorn with Feathers instead of Mane and tailhair be alright or would it fall under 11. The skin portraying a wrong species.?

Asthora, feathers are completely fine! While the creature stays recognizable and the number of limbs is the same with the game art, you can make any changes that you like. Feathers, scales, spikes and additional horns, even steampunk enchancements or plants growing from the body will work. For example, a graceful version of kirin will still fall under "unicorn" category without any problems - it's still an equine-like creature with horn, 4 legs and no additional limbs like wings, though it has different body proportions, dragon scales and fish whiskers.

I'm curious to know if this still fits as a Cockatrice by the site's definition before I put in more work.

Naraco, your skin is fine too! Such alteration doesn't make it unviable or too different from a regular cockatrice. Usually cockatrices have longer feathers and more subtle constitution but they can't fly - feathers are used for gliding and demonstration purposes only. A beast like yours can be a mutant morph with underdeveloped plumage, or simply have a virus similar to polyoma that doesn't allow the feathers to develop fully.

What is the reason/s my most recent and rejected skin was rejected? Too bug like? There is an approved dragon skin with bug wings. Would removing the bug eye have it accepted if I make the eye dragon like?

I'm curious as to the time it takes skins to be approved/rejected. I sent in my Cockatrice "Skittles" just last night and it's already been accepted, but my Gryphon "Pale Rainbow" was submitted a couple days ago and I'm still waiting to see if it is going to be accepted or not.

Hi, just wondering why this http://m.imgur.com/y87AutO skin wasn't accepted. Is it the little doodled heart on its hip a problem?

Monues, the problem is the number of wings (I believe there was 8?) Making a dragon a bug-like, mammal-like, bird-like etc. creature is totally fine (of course, if it preserves some anatomical features of a dragon and doesn't become just an winged mammal, insect or other creature that was taken as a base; your skin is fine at this point).

Sylviianel, I usually approve the skins that have no visual problem at once when I see them. The Gryphon skin that you are talking about have slight problems with outline pixelization. I review such disputable skins once per 2-3 days in batch because they require more in-depth checking in some graphic software to make if those little flaws are acceptable or not.

NyanGirl1313, the main problems are random smudged strokes outside the lineart (check the spikes area, they are most obvious there) and the uniform color fill over the whole base.

I'm confused, if it was okay then why was it rejected? I don't know how else to make it dragon like because the whole reason for the skin was to have many insect wings on my fae base. All skin using that base will be private or shared with one person using that new private shared, if that makes it more okay?

Are we allowed to make minor changes to the body structure such as floppy ears on a Lykos or larger wing-feathers on a gryphon?

Face of War

Stone Cold

I Spy

I want to know why those three skins got rejected.  Is there anything I can do so I can fix them and resumbit?

So Angel... in line with Monues... Is it okay if I have a dragon with bird wings? (I'm going to remove the "dragon wing portion" and enlarge the feathered wings (I will submit both versions, but the bird wings only is a private comission).

Also, is it okay if I continue with the feathers on the tail?

daisy2944, I'm sorry, these skins don't look like clear and consistent artworks to me. The first one doesn't comply with a few of the quality and tech requirements. Second and third ones are work of some types of duotoning filters and not the actual artworks.

Nightingale, bird wings are okay, and tail feathers are okay too. Transformation between scales and feathers is something that evolution done in the real world already: dinosaurs were feathered reptiles, and we have bioengineers and geneticists who work a lot faster than evolution. So I don't see any problems with a dragon having a feathered subspecies too. It's still an obvious dragon, not a giant bird.
