I think there's something I don't get with this tactic, can someone tell me why I lost this battle? I though you had to have at least a red maneuver for it to work on you.

Edit : Angel updated the description, you don't need a red maneuver for it to work on you. Fear the deadly frost :P

Huh, wow. It doesnt show that their deadly frost triggered, but it acted as if it did. I wonder if the red made by the whirlwind caused that...maybe whirlwind counts as red somehow. When you go to battle them again switch out the whirlwind for another tactic and see what happens. Im thinking that tactic may be causing it.

Well, I think you're right, that's what hapenned but still, isn't it supposed to be a red tactic on my side? Whirlwind is one of my favorite move, it's such a shame to change it ^^

Could it be a bug?

Wow, I know some of the best players would never dream of having a red tactic in their squads, but wouldn't it be lovely if they did? Look at that score! I think I'll try using Deadly Frost from now on, in case someone has Tornado...

That has to be a bug. Like you said, it's only supposed to work if the opposing squad has a red maneuver. Send a bug report on that immediately, before more people start exploiting it.

I got Deadly frost working in my primary squad (an etelia with tornado, and two ice breath/ice aura lykoses, one with deady frost selected) and it works beautifully, provided you roll a tornado at least once.

But your battle definitely looks like a bug. You have no red tactics there at all, so it shouldn't have activated.

I posted a thread about it in bugs, we'll see if it's really one. I was so sad about this fight though. It was a fight for the Portal, just after midnight so the trade was up. Sigh, next time :P

Aaarg it happened a second time, this time with wirlwind on their side. I think lamel is going to keep me out of the portal for a while.

I'm getting closer to the portal... I'll see if my deadly frost works. Muahahahaha *dies after waiting three days to reach portal*

lol, darn, wish Phobos and Demos was like this, cuz I tested it out, and Tornado doesn't work with it, so it's pretty much obsolete, since most players won't use pets with negative manevuers.

Anyways, it seems AQngel updated the Tactics FAQ, so I'll have to start breeding some Lykos soon.

Although I'll have to give up some ice breath/ice aura lykoses when my etelia *finally* decides to breed...

Etelias are event beasts, so I doubt they'll be breedable, in the normal sense, so Lykos will be the only one with Deadly Frost, for now. -- Ugh, too much breeding projects vying for my attention, needa finish some of them.

I think I'll just try and focus on good rocs to get Theory of Chaos with 3 movements maneuvers since you already need 3 of them to beat deadly frost. 

I don't remember, is there etelia with ice aura?

Yeah, Etelias can have Ice Aura, just check the Gen Lib. -- They just can't get Deadly Frost since they can't get GP.
