"Why not. We are more powerful then them, surely." Despair growled quietly.
She whacked a shadow tendril against the shield, and it wiggled and wavered. "Sugar, if you hit it with lightning, I bet it will collapse. These fools didn't go through the hardships we did, they aren't as powerful as us."
Suddenly, as if on cue, the black female padded forwards. She had an aura of unnatural calm surrounding her, and her blue eyes glittered coldly. She glanced back at the leader, as if asking for permission, and he nodded. She closed her eyes, then began to grow.
Then with an unspoken command, the wolves unleashed their powers. Despair could only stare in horror at the leader, who had large spikes all over his back and tail. She had never seen a dog like that.
He flicked said tail, and a razor sharp spike imbedded itself right in front of Despair's paws.
"Owners of dogs will have noticed that, if you provide them with food and water and shelter and affection, they will think you are god.
Whereas owners of cats are compelled to realize that, if you provide them with food and water and shelter and affection, they draw the conclusion that they are gods.”
