Honey nudged Ash playfully with her shoulder. “You didn't warn me?!”

Location: Freshkill pile

Character: Lady

"Me too. I owe you all so much for letting me in the pack." Lady dipped her head respectfully and sighed as her stomach rumbled. She snagged two mice from the pile and headed back to her den after flicking her tail politely at Sugar.

Location: Stream

Character: Despair

Despair stood on the banks of the stream, gazing out across it thoughtfully. Her pack was growing, and she thought it wouldn't hurt to expand their territory out further. She also pondered if they could preserve their prey, since winter was coming, and food became scarce. She decided to talk it over with her beta, Sugar, and turned her paws toward camp. However, a flash of fur at the edge of her vision made her swivel around. A squirrel sat on the root of a nearby tree, nibbling at a nut. Despair slunk forward to pouncing distance, and leaped. She landed on the rodent, hard. It was already dead as she bent to nip its spine. She picked it up and trotted home.

Ash nudged her back and grinned. "Would you have listened to me?"

Location- Camp Entrance

Character- Sugar 

Sugar sniffed the air and stood up when she caught the scent of Despair.

"Hey Despair! Nice catch!" She trotted forward to greet the Alpha.

Location - Fighter's Cave

Character - Greta

Greta woke up and stretched before leaving the cave. Hearing voices, she went over to the camp entrance and saw Sugar talking to Despair. "Good morning Despair, Sugar!" she called. "How are your days going?"

Ooc- If you want, you can abbreviate "Location" or "Character" before putting that down. For example-

Bic- Sugar turned around and gave a doggy grin to Greta. "Pretty good" she said cheerfully.

Suddenly, she felt a raindrop plop onto her nose. She lowered her ears and looked up. "It rained yesterday" she muttered.

She closed her eyes, and the clouds moved away, replaced by the bright sun and clear blue sky.

"There we go" she murmured. "These powers come in handy."

L: Meadow

C: Honey

“Yes! Why wouldn't I listen to you?” Honey asked stubbornly.

L: Elder's Den

C: Char

Char opened his eyes and rolled over. “Another dream ab-” he stopped, hearing voices. Don't let them hear, he thought to himself, careful not to send the thought to anyone.

He peered out of the den. Upon spotting Despair, he hauled himself to his feet.

“Hey, Despair. If there's anything I can do for you today, I can do it,” he said quickly. “Anything in return for helping me. I don't feel as old as I am."

L- Meadow

C- Ash

Ash frowned and narrowed his eyes. "Maybe because you never listen to me. It's like you forget I can see the outcome of your choices if it's bad." 

He softened his gaze. "Sorry. I'll tell you next time. Just wanted to see it."

L: Meadow

C: Honey

“Alright, fine. Should we keep hunting? I'm starting to feel hungry myself!”

L- Meadow

C- Ash

Ash nodded and crouched down, slowly creeping forward. He lifted his nose.

His ears twitched as he caught a scent. "Squirrel" he said quietly. 

He crept forward, nose twitching.

He quickly pranced forward, landing on a fluffy squirrel. He easily snapped its neck between his teeth and lifted his head with it in his jaws.

L - Camp Entrance

C - Greta

Greta stared up at the sky, a look of utter amazement on her face. "It's so neat that you can do that! I wish my power was as cool as yours is." Looking at some stray pebbles on the ground, she piled them up in a small tower before letting them tumble back to the ground in a heap.

L - Freshkill Pile

C - Terror

Teri sniffed around the freshkill pile looking for a quick breakfast. Seeing that his only option was a squirrel, he decided to wait and leave that for anyone else who might be hungry. He heard voices at the camp entrance, and, looking over, he saw four of the other dogs. Teri lumbered over and said a quiet 'hello' to the others.

C- Sugar

Sugar shook her head. "Your power is awesome" she said.

She turned at the sound of a quiet hello. "Hi Teri" she said.

L:  Camp Entrance

C: Despair

'Hello, Sugar, Char, Greta, Teri." Despair nodded to each one of them before depositing her prey on the pile. "And all your powers are 'cool'. Also, thanks Char, but it's fine. There's nothing I need. If you will excuse me," She said, gesturing to Sugar. "Can we talk really quick? I have some ideas for our camp."

Sugar nodded and stood up. "Be right back guys" she said, before turning and following after Despair.

L: Front of Alpha's den

C: Despair

Despair sat down and curled her tail around her paws. "I was thinking, maybe we should extend our territory. Our pack is growing, and Lady's about to have pups. We will probably need the extra space during winter, for prey." She looked at Sugar, waiting for her opinion.

L- Alpha Den

C- Sugar

Sugar licked her lips and nodded. "Seems reasonable. I can control weather, but I prefer to let the winter roll through. The forest needs it."

Sugar tilted her head. "Can you demonstrate your power? I've only seen it like once or twice."
