Ooc: Okay, I'll rewrite all of it. I will edit this, in hopes that the page doesn't reload. Cross your fingers.
Location: Starstones
Name/Clan: Honeypaw/SunClan
Honeypaw gasped at the sight of the Starstones. Every time she came was like the first. Small crystals(okay, warrior cats call them Moonstones, but small Moonstones is too weird) had formed upon the roof of the entrance, which in itself was intimidating.
“I hope MoonClan can give us answers, after a quarter moon of dreams,” Sorrelfern murmured.
“A quarter moon?” Honeypaw exclaimed. “I only dreamed about it tonight!”
Honeypaw scrambled after Sorrelfern into the caves. Then, they walked into the engulfing darkness...
Location: SunClan Camp
Name/Clan: Dustfeather/SunClan, Goldenstar/SunClan
Dustfeather sat next to Goldenstar, watching the sun slowly rise in the sky.
“Ravenpaw is so excited to be a warrior already. Have you thought of a name for him?”
Goldenstar purred. “Sort of. Ravenfeather...Ravenstorm...what do you think he should be named?”
Dustfeather thought for a moment, before replying,“Ravenflight.”
“Hmmm...Ravenflight. I like it.”
“I'll be great at naming warriors when I'm leader, won't I father?”
“Yes.” They sat in silence, until Goldenstar asked,“Shouldn't you have organized a border and hunting patrol already?”
Dustfeather purred. “You're forgetting things. You must be old. I already sent the dawn patrol out.”
Goldenstar sighed. “And a hunting patrol?”
“I guess fighters like you know nothing about hunting,” Dustfeather teased. “The dawn patrol sometimes hunts too.”
Goldenstar purred again, then continued to watch the rising sun.
Location: near Hunting Meadows
Name: Um, the dawn patrol, XD
“Ferndapple, your apprentice is bothering his superiors again,” Leopardleaf meowed, flicking her tail in amusement and annoyance.
“Ravenpaw, I think that means you can't jump around.” Ferndapple purred.
Ravenpaw looked up. “But it's my first time to the Hunting Meadows!”
“We only couldn't go last time because you were too small to climb the Steps.”
The dawn patrol had just finished renewing the borders, and walked back to below the Hunting Meadows to hunt. Ravenpaw muttered something inaudible, and the trio continued to the Steps. Leopardleaf instantly bounded forward and leapt to and from each rock that jutted out, creating steps.
Ravenpaw stared. “She's so agile! I can't do that!”
“Have you tried?” Moorwhisker asked, padding toward them. “I managed to catch a thrush that had strayed across the outside border. I buried it back over there, I can run down on the way back to camp.”
Ferndapple slinked up the rocks herself, and it was Ravenpaw's turn. He cautiously jumped from rock to rock, careful not to trip. When he poked his head up, he gasped.
In front of him was a large meadow with tall grass. The whole place smelled like rabbit. Leopardleaf was already stalking a small group of three rabbits.
Why is she doing that? She'll just let them run away! That was when Ravenpaw noticed Ferndapple on the opposite side, facing Leopardleaf, and crouching in the grass. She flicked her tail for him to come over.
“Wait.” Moorwhisker appeared beside him. “You go on their left, I'll go on their right. We'll surround them.”
Ravenpaw ran to their left side, and slowly, the patrol closed in. Then the rabbits scattered.
One ran to Moorwhisker, who immeadietaly pounced, pinning the rabbit.
The other ran past Leopardleaf, who bolted after it. Her spotted pelt rippled against her lithe body. Ferndapple ran right at her paws.
The other ran straight to Ravenpaw. He ducked, and the rabbit bounded over him, like slow motion. He whirled around and chased after it, but it was too far out of reach.
“Nice try Ravenpaw!” Leopardleaf meowed, panting. “It's okay, no one catches a rabbit on their first try.”
“But it's my third try!” Ravenpaw wailed. “I'll never be a warrior!”
“Ravenpaw,” Ferndapple meowed, approaching him. “You still have a lot to learn by the end of your apprenticeship. By then, I'm sure you'll be able to catch a rabbit in a heartbeat!”
Ravenpaw looked up, blinking. “Promise?”
“Promise”
Quotes:
I want you to listen to me very carefully, Harry. You're not a bad person. You're a very good person, who bad things have happened to. Besides, the world isn't split into good people and Death Eaters. We've all got both light and dark inside us. What matters is the part we choose to act on. That's who we really are.
