I wonder if it's only one snowflake ever, or if it'll be possible to get another one each year?

Next year they might introduce another creature... Or maybe it'll be a chance to get etelias with different colourways. I'm thinking pink, and purple ice. Or maybe dark red.

I find this year the spawning rate for Lykos eggs is much higher. I've almost got 30, whereas last year I found a grand total of three.

Ten times more?! Wow! Maybe it was adjusted so we could focus on getting the Etelias...

My main unicorn to defeat Etelias has Solid Horn as his only gene that influences his attacks in any way (he has thick skin and regen and counterstrike, but that's it).

I've had my most success by trying different attacks and certain ones will simply work better for certain types of Etelias (in fact, bite is the least effective of his attacks despite being the only enhanced one lol. Most often it's rush, to a lesser degree blow). Some that can't be beat at all with bite can easily be beat with rush or blow, regardless of the fact that the uni doesn't have any gene to enhance those attacks.

Yes, you are correct, Bowie. My unicorn (level 20ish) has managed to reach a level eight tundra island and beat the only etelia he has found there; there were no portals to higher levels. For some reason, he was unable to defeat it with bite, even though it is his strongest attack, yet has succeeded using blow. Until now I was always under the impression that, the highest attack works the best. 

Usually that's the case but it also depends on the abilities and attack stats of your opponent.

In this case it was a level 20 etelia with ice breath against my level 23 GP3 unicorn.

Gah, etelias with elemental resistance, blizzard, ice breath and silent pace are devastating. You get stalked, blown down, miss your turn, blasted with cold air and have your attack turned against you. Why isn't my own etelia that powerful??? I bought another ice breath lykos, although it's only at level 4. Will eventually decrease the number of energy drinks I use every day.

And... it got great genes. Not sure if I should be happy now that I'll lose it if I want to breed it :(

Edit: Hey I just tought about it, anyway it's pretty much too late. 3 days to grow up then 30 days before reproducing, it brings us to february 28. So tomorrow should be the absolute last day.

Oh Never mind it's 30 days total, including the 3 to become adult. February 25. Still 4 more day ^^

I just found a Pristine Snowflake! I changed my mind, I'm back in the game! Um, I meant event, lol

Hahaha, this event is addictive. I probably won't even use my etelias, they'll sit on my tab looking pretty until next year. Those pristine snowflakes are so pretty, aren't they? It seems such a shame to activate them...

I am trading liq verm for crystalline ice. Exploring is too tedious. Will also trade portal cells or charged sticks for them if you prefer that

Finaly I found Pristine Snowflake on level 10. And it was first time i even got so far. :-)

Now all i need is more Crystalline Ice.
