"That would be nice, thank you," she said, handing her crown over to Willowm "Normally, I would enchant these things myself, but I left most of my equipment back home."

"If it helps, we have several enchanting supplies and equipment available for those that can use it. Again, it isn't the best, but it gets the job done," Aipaloovik said, stading up to stretch before sitting back down, "We might be able to make some portable equiment for you as well."

Willow nodded and once again made the crown glow a soft green before handing it back ot Ahnah.  Goldenscale tilted her head.  "Isn't enchanting something the same thing as using magic?" she asked, confused.  Why use enchanting equipment when you can use magic that does the same thing she wondered.

"Enchanting is magic, but it is infused into a solid obeject to give the object the magic's power. Enchantments are mostly used to make using other magics easier, or to better improve your physical abilities," Ahnah said, taking the crown and placing it on Goldenscale's head,"Enchantments can also be used to preserve objects until the end of time, or until the magic runs dry."

"Enchantments are more permenant that plain binding magic. An anchantment can't be removed unless you use a specific process to destory the item itself," Aipaloovik explained, "To weave an enchantment into an object, most people need special equipment to focus the magic into the object being enchanted. Spirits can enchant or curse objects without such equipment though."

Goldenscale blinked a couple of times to think t over until it made sense to her.  "Okay, I understand now.  Then does that mean that my protection spells aren't permanent?" she asked.  "I used a really strong one back home to prevent dark spirits from entering the forest and the cave housing all the dragons." she said with a frown.  Willow chuckled.  "That is a permanent spell.  I did teach you it, and you did have enough energy to make it work, so it is." she said with a smile.  "That and Moonlight did intend you to be a spirit, but gave you a living body." she explained.  Goldenscale then smile.  "Oh.  Yay!" she said.

"Good to know they're all safe.I figured the spell used was a more permenant guard spell than the regular ones given how much energy it had," Ahnah said with a smile, nuzzling Goldenscale's cheek, "I'm sure Mayumi would have keept the barrier up if she need to though. To protect everyone you love, I figure she would do just about anything to make sure there were happy faces for you to return to."

Lowering himself to the ground, Aipaloovik shifted uncomfortably.

Goldenscale chuckled.  "I didn't even know there was a difference between spells.  Most of the ones I've used were permanent unless I wanted them otherwise." she said.  She then nuzzled Ahnah back.  "It is true, everyone back home is doing everything they can to keep everything in shape while you're gone.  Konoki is directing everything outside the cave, but I don't know how well things are in the cave." Willow said with a smile.  Goldenscale smiled.  "Tell them all thank you for me." she said happily.  Willow nodded.  "Well, I should be on my way.  I wish you all well until we meet next." she said, fading away with a bright green swirl of leaves.  Goldenscale looked at Aipaloovik and frowned.  "Something wrong?" she asked him.

"I'm fine, just uneasy with Talia's pheromones clouding my mind. The ice she's encased herse;f with keeps the pheromons from getting out too far, but they can still get out to someone this close," he said, using his wings to hide his blush, "I can control myself, but some reactions can't be controled. Once we leave tomorrow, Ill stay at your side rather than leading front if you don't mind."

Goldenscale nodded.  "Oh..." she said with a sigh.  She then looked at him and gave a chuckle.  "That will be decided tomorrow based on your actions today." she said decisively.  She still didn't trust him fully and she was going to protect Ahnah no matter what, so for now she left the decision decided.  If she was going to let him walk besides them, she was going to walk between him and Ahnah.

"I understand. I'm just trying to honor Talia's wishes is all.She wishes to not have a mate, so i will not tempt her heat clouded mind," he said,  causing a thin layer of ice to cover his body like Ahnah had done to herself, "I don't want to cause any unwanted actions on either of our parts."

"It's not that i don't want a mate so much as I already have one I'm loyal to. To take on another mate would not be moraly right for me," Ahnah said, chuckling at Aipaloovik's awkward stance, "I wouldn't want to bring shame on them, myself, or you. So long as you can keepyour mind clear enough to control yourself, there should be no trouble."

Goldenscalewent silent, not knowing how to react to the conversation.  She didn't feel the need to add anything, but then again she didn't know what else she could do otherwise. Remembering the meat she had packed under the sand, she then brought it up and checked it to see if it was cooked.

"I understand. I'm sorry I offered then," Aipaloovik said, keeping his head down, "Mind if I ask who your mate is then? I would like to congradulate hi for fin such a loyal mate."

"I would rather not say, not yet anyways. you'll have to ear both Goldenscale's and my trust before I share such information," Ahnah said before looking to Goldenscale, "It still needs to set under the coals a little longer. The middle is done, but the outside is still mostly raw. I'd say. give it another five minutes though."

Goldenscale looked over at Ahnah.  "Kay." she said before she carefully wrapped up the meat once more, heated up the sands and buried the leaves.  She then yawned and curled up in Ahnah's side before closin her eyes.  "I'm gonna take a nap for a bit.  I'm tired..." she said.  She kept one ear up as she dozed off.  She needed to do something to keep her mind off of her hunger, and this was the best thing she could think of since she didn't want to leave Ahnah.

Watching Goldenscale fall asleep, Ahnah yawned herself. "A nap sounds real good about now, especially after a day like today," she said, laying her head down on her paws. After a few minuts,, she nudged Goldenscale to wake her, "Yo' food should be done ."

"heh, you two are almost like locers. If i didn't know better, I'd say you were, but tht would be absurd. That would imply you had something wrong in your heads," Aipaloovik said, watch Goldenscale and Ahnah.

Hearing he other's comment, Ahnah stiffened for a brief moment beofre closing her eyes and shaking her head.

(Sorry if replies get a little slow.  Shit just went down in my house, and I'm trying to keep myself together.)

Goldenscale yawned and opened her eyes before going over to the sand pile and digging up the meat.  She then carefully unwrapped it and took a bite of one of the pieces.  "Everyone has something wrong in their heads..." she said with a yawn before eating another piece.

(Hope things get better soon.))

"That may be true, but some things are more wrong than others. It is those that exhibit such problems, that must be culled from our village," Aipaloovik said, curling up, and resting so that he could watch Ahnah and Goldenscale.

"It is things like that that breeds hate in this world. The old teacings may be simpler and easier to fallow, they aren't without their faults," Ahnah said, keeping her focus on Goldenscale to avoid meeting the other's eyes, "Everyone deserves a chance at happiness, even if it means they act differently than you."
